Tom's pov
It was a normal da- okay who am I kidding? With these three dumbasses nothing was ever "normal", heck, we can't even go one month without going on some wacky adventure and honestly? I'd kill someone for some peace and quiet.
Literally he'd kill someone...
Maybe three someones...
Anyways, today they were, somehow, even louder than normal. Edd and Tord were fighting over bacon, again (why they couldn't just split it or buy more, Tom had no idea) and Matt was panicking because he lost his favorite mirror (it was in his pocket but Tom was too tired to tell him)
And Tom?
He was trying to read "how to pretend you're reading" a classic, key word trying. His roommates were so noisy that he couldn't even concentrate on staring at the same page!
He was becoming angrier Every. Single. Second.
A crash was heard upstairs, at the same time Tom's "somebody is wrecking my shit" senses started tingling, and he ran upstairs.
Only to see Tord and Edd hovering over the remains of what once was Susan.
That was the last straw
"Tom I can-" Edd started but Tom cut him off "SHUT THE FUCK UP EDD! DON'T YOU DARE SAY "I'm sorry" OR "it was an accident" BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO FUCKING HEAR IT! THIS WHOLE DAY YOU TWO 'VE BEEN DRIVING ME CRAZY AND NOW YOU'RE DESTROYING MY STUFF?! I SWEAR TO-" Tom felt the tiniest amount of purple smoke leave his "eyes" and stopped abruptly
"Just-just stay out of my room! And leave me alone." I said, and I went downstairs to blow of some steam outside
"Hey Tom have you seen my-"
"It's in your fucking pocket Matt"
I slammed the door behind me, taking deep breaths.
No one's pov
"Where do you think he's going? Edd asked Tord
"I bet twenty bucks he's gonna get wasted"

Tom's pov
I stopped at a park, which was conveniently located close to our house, and-
Wait did you really think I was going to a bar?
I don't intend on going anywhere near one of those right now- maybe later but that's irrelevant.
Anyways I saw that there weren't a lot of people. It was quiet, peaceful and exactly what I needed after a long day with those idiots
Don't get him wrong, he loves his friends (platonically) but sometime- most of the time they were pretty overwhelming, so he was grateful for little moments like these.
He sat down on a bench, watching as a few ducks swam side by side in a nearby pond, he didn't even realize he had company until he looked beside him.
"HOLY JAR IN A CAR THAT'S PARKED REAL FAR- I mean... hi?" He said to the child that sat next to him
"Oh hello!" They said, but when their eyes landed on Tom's face they tilted their head in confusion
"Where are your eyes?"
