AU type: royalty

trope: flirty bodyguard x shy princess

You walked the palace grounds, Chan trailing behind.  You just tell about your day, fighting with your brother, the dogs running around the grounds. But he wasn't looking at your eyes --- your lips mostly. Like if he could kiss you he would do it, even if it means he lost his high ranking position in the royal guard.

Most of the time, him out of uniform was a student at the University,  an English major. It fits him quite well. He's always in a book or writing, if not following me. But unlike other days, today he's less talkative. "Why aren't you talking tonight solider? I've missed your voice." He tilts his head. "You have?" he asked. You nodded, ajusting my hair. Not an edge nor a braid shall be out of place.

"Well,"  he says, stepping in front of you. You stop, looking at him. "Do you miss me now, Your Grace?" you smile back at him. "No, not at all soldier."

"Come on Y/N, say your goodbyes." Aunt Sana called. "Chan's gotta guard Dahyun's room tonight."

"Aww...well, sleep well soldier." you smile at him before going with your aunt.

"Your not falling in love with the Bahng boy, are you? I thought I told you Y/N!" You pouted. Chan's family has been in the textile business since before the Joseon. Yeah, his family has money, but nothing like any of the suitors you'll meet. I guess Chan will have to wait.

But then he walks over to you both. "Lady Minatozaki, princess. I'll be back with her by eleven sharp!" He says taking your hand and practically making a run for it. "Chris, what was that?" you say out of breath. "Oh, I'm sorry Your Grace. but I really need to talk to you." You think, what is this boy doing?

But..his calm tone makes you feel a lot better. "Now, Christopher Alexander Bahng IV what did you want to talk about?" you say, his full name flowing easily. It felt right for the situation.

"Well...my parents sent me here...oh how do I say this, to marry you." you look at him like he was crazy. Marriage? What, no! You can't cook for him, clean for him plus how many kids you might have to have with him to keep the Bahng name alive..and as you ramble all you hear is his voice.

"Hey, your grace..Lady Y/N? God I can't believe I'm about to do this..please don't fire me commander.." And with a tired heart, he kissed you. You let go, but only after...more than ten seconds. And bro. BRO. Now you realized how fine he was? Like, majestic. Like a prince, not a student.

You can't fall for him, you heard what Aunt Sana said. But...maybe being a bad princess didn't hurt. A tear fell down from your eye but he wiped it for you, what a sweetheart.

"Do that again." you said, and he looked rather puzzled. "Do you mean..?" he says pointing at your lips, and before he expects it, they meet once again. A sinful thing, such a sinful thing lust is, but it felt so..freeing..? Like taking a love potion, knowing the end will be good but going down it stings. That boy is your one desire, like you've never felt it before. "How'd you like to be king, Chan?" you say. "Oh to reign by your side, always." You see your mother, Dahyun watching you two. You can't hear what she's saying but you read her lips. "May god save the Queen."

You look at your now soon to be husband. Eyes, brown but sharp as blades. He could make  fine king. You jump at the sight of Aunt Sana's evil looks.

But you will soon be queen, and she'll just have to deal with it.
