Chapter 4

Ethan and I were in the police department. We were in an interrogation room with a lot of crime scene photos in front of us. As we were waiting for Mr Bailey to come in I was falling asleep on the table until he walked in. "This was found next to the body at the apartment crime scene, DNA says that it belongs to someone named Richie kirch, does that ring a bell," the sheriff asked us. "I'm familiar with him" I said. "But the on that attacked us had a different mask on, it was kinda more beat up like it's older" Ethan said

"Huh, gotta ask, do you have alibi's for tonight?" the sheriff asked us. "We were at a party with our friends" Ethan responded. The sheriff showed us a video of Sam attacking someone, he asked "was it before or after this?". "Before" I said. "The point is we were with people all night" Ethan said. "So my friends roommates dad, just happened to pull our case" i said. "Has to be a crazy coincidence right, the detective who had the case, he offered it to me, it involves Quinn but I can't totally give it back if you're uncomfortable. It's up to you." The sheriff told us

"It's fine" I said. "So if the man who attacked you did steal your license and planted it next to the body, then it would probably be someone that is close to you" the sheriff says. "Well Sam, tara, and I moved here with Mindy and Chad for summer semester like six months ago so, Quinn, Ethan, Anika all since then. Sorry Ethan" I said as I looked at him. "it's all good" he said awkwardly smiling while looking at me.

"I think I can vouch for Quinn, so that's one less we have to worry about, do you guys have anyone that might want to target you?" Mr Bailey asked. "Not anyone who's still alive" I responded. Mr Bailey was going to say something until he got interrupted by another police officer saying something about the FBI and then me Bailey left.

We met the FBI agent her name was Kirby. Another cop came giving the sheriff another Ghostface mask. "This was at the bodega, DNA traces two individuals Charlie Walker and Jill Roberts, both diseased" the sheriff said. "Ghost face killer of two thousand eleven, Charlie Walker gave me this" Kirby stated as she lifted up her shirt to show us a big scar. "Like I said I take a special interest, Is this the mask he was wearing when he attacked you?" she finishes. "No" I said as I was nodding

"That means he's leaving them on purpose" he said. "Which means whoever is doing this is a student of the killer who came before, maybe believe y/n the latest in a long line" Kirby finishes. "Yeah well good luck with that because Sam says that we are getting out of town" I say. "I'm sorry but that's not possible, you are a person of interest in a double homicide, so you're not aloud to leave town, sorry" the sheriff says.

"Are you serious"I say. "He's right, but if we work together" Kirby tries to finish as Ethan interrupts her "we're going" he says as he grabs my hand pulling me outside. We go outside as he's holding the door for me. As we are walking out there is a lot of news reporters waiting for me, asking me questions about everything then out of no where I stop in my tracks when I hear "gale Whether's Chanel four, do you think you're the reason the Ghostface killer has come to the big apple?" she asked me.

I tried to punch her but I missed "nice try sweetie but I've done this dance before" she said as I tried again and punch her right on the cheek. "Stay away from us" I told her. "Are you really still mad at me" she asked me. "You said you wouldn't write a book about what happened, and then you wrote a book about what happened" I said angrily. "Oh come on, somebody was going to write about it, that's what I do" she said as she tried to defend herself.

Ethan said something but I didn't pay attention to it. "It's- it's all about true crime limited series these days" gale said. "After everything we went through together, what would dewy think" I told her. "That's a low blow" she said. "So was your book, you called me unstable and a born killer" I told her getting closer. "That's taken out of contexts" she said nodding her head. "That's literally a quote" I said

"You don't think what you wrote has something to do with what's happening to us?" Ethan asks gale. "Come on" I tell Ethan. As we were walking away game said something "I talked to Sidney" she said, as Ethan and I turned around. "She's not coming here is she" I asked gale. "No, she sends her love but she's taking mark and the kids some place safe, she deserves to have her happy ending" gale says. I start getting into the Ravi ingnoring her as Ethan is getting in he says one more thing to her, then the taxi driver drives off
