As the sky was grey apon a darkened city, bussling with people and cars all around, a small girl sits in her box in a alleyway. She looked down at the ground as her stomach growled in hunger. Her white gown all dirty and covered in splotches of mud and oil.
This part of the city was known for its poor people, gangs, violence and unregistered mercenaries. Here, this is the heart of Nevaria. One of the only places that was safe from the dangerous outside world.
As gloomy as this poor part of the city was, its president, Auditor, was no merciful leader. He had ruled this city for two years and many mix of people began to choose sides against their own friends and families.
One sided with the Auditor, mainly the rich. Wile the other side, the more poor and better moral people, sided against him. But with all dictators, he along with his army took down most of the "heritics" as he called them.
The Auditor had no god complex, but sure as hell was a cruel one with his power of "The Halo".
"The Halo", or Key fragment, was one of the most powerful artifacts found deep within Nevaria's Temples that are scattered around. He, along with his army, retrieved it and overthrew the Queen that once ruled this once beautiful world.
But the girl in the box. Brown messy hair, dull brown eyes, and no expression on her face, she sat there alone wile many people walked past.
But emerging from the darkness came a unknown man. He quickly snatched her up and took her into the darkness. The once box that she occupied now empty. The cold breeze came and sweept paper and dust across the sidwalks and streets.
Where one has lied, to ones origins, never forget your roots. Because once you go down a path, the blood you sew will lead you to happiness or darkness.
