The answers of the majority were right. The Sai we all know will not choose love, she will only choose self-respect because she is an upright woman for whom self-respect matters the most and the story continues with Sai choosing self-respect over her love for Virat

Driven by guilt

Sai was surprised when Virat held her hand in his sleep and requested her not to leave him. Virat continued murmur in his sleep in a sobbing tone, "Sai don't leave me and go. I can't live without you. Please don't leave me!!" Tears rolled down Sai's cheeks as she heard those words. She stops herself to caress Virat's face but then Pakhi and Ashwini's words flash through her mind. She remembers how they had accused her of being the other woman in Virat's married life and tried to break his marriage by returning to his life.

Shortly her alter ego comes there; Sai was surprised to see it. The alter ego asks her, "Why are you surprised to see me? You should be surprised at yourself." Sai to the alter ego, "What do you mean?" The alter ego, "What do I mean? Don't you know what I mean? What had been Pakhi accusing you of doing all this time?" Sai reminisces of all the moments when Pakhi had asked her to stay away from Virat. The alter ego continues, "And what about Mrs. Ashwini Chavan whom you call Aai?" Sai remembers the moment when Ashwini had come to her and requested her not to break Virat's marriage. The alter ego taunts her saying, "You shut all their mouths by proudly claiming that you had no intentions of winning back Virat as your only intention is to win back your son Vinu. Now how will you answer them?" Sai remembers hers and Virat's passionate moment of the previous night. On how they eventually came close. She frees her hand from Virat's clenches and cries bitterly reminiscing each and every moment of their passion. She feels herself to be filthy while reminiscing those moments and tightly wraps her body with the bedsheet. The alter ego tells her, "Now you can no longer deny their accusations Miss. Sai Joshi. You have unknowingly let Pakhi's and Ashwini Chavan's words come true." Sai keeps her hands in her ears and cries out, "No!!!" Virat moves in his sleep. Sai notices it and cups her mouth. She falls on her knees and cries saying in a low tone, "I did not try to break Virat's marriage. I did not try to break his marriage."

Later, Sai quickly dressed up and left the vicinity without informing anyone. Few minutes later, Virat gradually opened his eyes. He felt his head heavy and his vision blurry. He gathered all his strength and lifted himself up saying, "God, what is wrong with me?" Just then he notices his clothes scattered all around the bed and remembers what all had happened the previous night. He bangs his head reminiscing his intimate moments with Sai the previous night. He says, "Virat...Virat...Virat what did you do? Sai was drunk. What was the need for you to get drunk too? And in your drunken state..." Virat reminisces how he kissed Sai, how he undressed her and made love with her. He tells himself, "Yesterday night in my inebriated state, I forgot that I was the DCP of police and Pakhi's husband. I had forgotten about all the barriers which were held between me and Sai and whatever happened was my love for her. The love which I have been suppressing within me all this time." Tears filled Virat's eyes as he said those words. Then he quickly wiped his tears and looked around for Sai. He wondered, "Where did Sai go?"

Chavan Nivas

The family members are having breakfast. Vinayak and Savi anxiously looked at each other. Savi, "Vinu Dada what do you think? Would the magic water have worked? Will Aai-Baba fulfill us our wish?" Vinayak, "Don't know Savi only Aai and Baba can answer that question." Bhavani unaware of Vinayak and Savi's mischief asks Pakhi, "Hasn't Virat returned yet?" Pakhi shakes her head. Sonali says, "Wahini even Sai hasn't returned yet." Bhavani says, "I wonder what duty Virat and Sai are having? That both of them haven't returned home yet."

Just then Sai hastily comes inside and calls out Vinayak and Savi. All the family members were surprised to hear her. Vinayak and Savi were also awed to listen to their Aai's voice and run to her. As they reach her, they ask her, "What happened Aai?" Sai bends down towards them and tells, "Both of you go and quickly pack your bags. We are leaving Chavan Nivas." All were shocked to hear that. Bhavani asks her, "What happened Sai? What made you take such a decision?" Sai doesn't respond to her and continues, "Vinu, Savi, didn't you hear what I told you? Go and pack your bags!!" Pakhi cuts in saying, "Wait a minute, you can leave this house with your daughter but Vinu is not going anywhere. He will stay here with us in Chavan Nivas." Sai was about to answer her back when Vinu sobbingly tells Sai, "Yes Aai, I don't want to leave Chavan Nivas. I was to live here with my whole family." Sai looks disappointedly looks at him. Just then, Savi hugs her and pleads in tears, "Aai even I don't want to leave Baba's House. I want to stay here with him and my whole family." Tears roll down Sai's cheeks listening to her kids'pleas. She kneels down pulls them towards her, wipes their tears and tells them, "Fine, if you do not want to separate from your Baba and family then I will not separate them from you." All the family members smile except Pakhi. Sai continues to Vinayak and Savi, "But your Aai will not stay with you in your Baba's house." All were shocked to hear that. A thrill passed through Pakhi's heart.
