The door opened to reveal a tall man with jet black hair, he wore a black leather jacket with a red checked shirt on underneath. She just stared at him, he somehow looked familiar.

"Can I help you with something?" The man scowled growing tired of her staring.

"I was looking for a Charity Dingle, clearly I have the wrong house." She replied sharply.

"Omg!" A voice said behind the man. A woman with blonde curly hair stepped out behind him with a look of pure shock on her face. "Courtney." She whispered.

"I presume you are Charity." Courtney replied eyeing her mother up and down curiously.

"Does someone want to tell me what the hell is going on?" The man with the jet black hair angrily asked Charity.

"Cain, this is Courtney. My daughter....our daughter."

Courtney looked at Cain in shock, she had come looking for her mother but now she had found her father and a sister as well. Courtney now understood why Cain looked so familiar he had the same attitude she had, the same hair before she dyed hers and she had his eyes.

"Well don't just stand there," Charity said to Cain, "Move out of the way and let her in."

Cain still stood there in shock, staring at the young girl before him. This girl was perhaps 5/6 years younger than Debbie. He quickly worked out the mental math in his head, after him and Charity conceived Debbie they didn't see each other for a long time, but when they did, well that's best left to the imagination. Maybe it was 5 years, but Cain had to be sure.

"Hang on a minute, I'm not just going to let anyone in my house, how do I know this isn't some plan you two have cooked up?" Cain said with aggression.

At that moment Courtney brought out a necklace from her pocket, it was a simple gold chain, to anyone else it would have meant nothing, just a simple piece of jewellery, but to Cain this necklace was the sibilance of truth, this girl really was his daughter.
