(Y/N's POV)

**FLASHBACK**

"Wait! Kamira! Wait for me!" I cried, running out from our small cave in the mountains. My (h/c) (h/l) blowing in the cold harsh winds, my (e/c) eyes filled with fear and confusion. Why is she leaving me? What did I do wrong? I searched across the snowy mountains for hours and hours desperate to find her. My feet were numb, my face was pale and I was shivering uncontrollably.

I returned to our cave and snuggled into an old tatty blanket she gave me, while I fidgeted with my locket she also gave me; it was in a shape of a pentagram and was an icy blue. It had her scent on the little blanket which made me feel as if she never left.

"I will...find you...mom." then I drifted of into a deep sleep.

I wake up from my dream/flashback with my exceed, Savannah, nuzzling into my neck to wake me up.

"(y/n)..time to get up.." she sang in a silly voice. I hid my head under the covers and tried to go back to sleep. "Hey don't ignore me! I said get up!" she said poking at me.

"Don't give me sass cat!" I snarled. I'm actually a nice person but I hate mornings; no, not hate, despise mornings. I would sleep forever if I could.

"No need to be like that, jeez! You're such a douche." Savannah moaned.

"Well let me sleep!"

"It's nearly 11:30 AM!!"

"...And?" I replied, she didn't answer for a while. "Savannah?" I pulled off the covers to be hit with ice cold water. I growled with anger. "I'm gonna kill you!!" I began to chase her around my apartment, while she flew away from me in a fit of laughter. I almost caught her when she flew above me, too high for me to reach.

"Aw that's not fair! I can't fly!" I huffed in annoyance.

"Snooze ya lose!" she replied smugly, I shook my head and laughed. I went into the bathroom to make myself look presentable and sat down to read the new issue of Sorcerer Weekly. I looked at the front cover to see my name plastered on the front page, again.

I chuckled at the title they gave me as the 'Ice Warrior'. Oh I should probably explain. My name is (y/n) (l/n), I'm daughter of the ice dragon Kamira and I do ice dragon slayer magic. My dragon Kamira left me 7 years ago, with no goodbye or note to tell me where she went. I'm not part of a guild, though if I had to choose I would definitely join Fairy Tail.

I take my own jobs and earn my own money. I was considering joining a guild but I've learnt to trust nobody and to keep your heart safe. If anyone else left me or hurt me I don't think I would be able to handle it. I checked for any requests and noticed there was a 4 million jewel reward! This was to defeat a forbidden creature in a cave, this would be easy.

I tie my hair up into a pony tail plait, then wrap it around to make a fancy bun. I then put on my icy blue bandanna to hide my face, so all you can see is my bright (e/c) eyes. I then put on the rest of my outfit that only revealed, nothing but my eyes. You could say that it's one of my best qualities.

"Savannah, come on we have another job to do." I said in a muffled tone.

"Okay Ice Princess!" Savannah scoffed picking me up and flying out of our apartment window, I could take the train but no way in hell is that happening. I could risk getting my identity found out and I have a horrible case of motion sickness. One time, I threw up on a train and turn in to vomit icicles. It was a nasty sight.

"DON'T CALL ME A PRINCESS!!" I shouted as we soared through the air.

"DON'T BLOW MY EAR DRUMS OUT!! Remember I'm the one who's carrying you and I will drop you (y/nn)!" She said smugly.

"Remember I'm the one who feeds you and gives you a home!" I remarked back. A sweat dropped from her head.

"Yeah, your right, oh when we finish the job can we go get fish?!?!" She beamed. Fish was her love, fish was her life. She would literally die if she couldn't have fish again.

"Sure thing buddy! Oh there's the cave!" I pointed to a small cave in the mountains.

It looked familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it...
