5 - my girl

BETH POV:
Once that whole incident had happened , Viv had fallen asleep on my chest , with her arms around my waist , I love her so much.

NOBODY POV:
Steph walks up the stairs , slightly annoyed as they had not answered many of her texts the hour before. She opens the wooden door with a slight creak. Viv and Beth are lying in bed , Beth lying with her face upwards , clearly awake - but not wanting to wake Viv. Viv was grasping Beth's waist , her head resting on Beth's collarbone. "aww"Steph said - thinking the situation was cute. " it's what Viv deserves after yesterday." Beth said , clearly angry. "What happened?"Steph said , confused as she had not heard anything. "Her and Lisa had an argument , Lisa told her she was not good enough , after she came back crying her eyes out and just wanted to cuddle. I feel so bad for her." Beth said in a slightly worried tone. "oh poor vivvy ... one problem."
Steph said. "..... what." Beth said - dreading bad things. " you know I had arranged for me , you and Viv to go to a cafe - well I can't go so Lisa decided to say she would fill in as I had already paid for the reservation." Steph said " your joking .... For fucks sake." Beth said , angry at why Lisa would want to come. " I know - might be good to clear the air..." Steph said hoping for good things "yeah I guess" Beth responded " well you better get her up - it's reserved for 10:30 - and it's now ten." Steph said before leaving the room " okay steffy"
A few minutes later , Beth decided she would have to wake Viv up . She kissed her forehead lightly , and rubbed her back - Viv scrunched her eyes up - still puffy from the night before "how did you sleep - your like a hot water bottle." Beth said laughing . " good thanks- btw your a great pillow beffy." she says jokingly. Viv puts her head back onto Beth's chest . Beth put her hand on top of her hair and started stroking her hair , Viv was really comfortable , and really enjoyed it. "I know your tired - but we are going to breakfast with Lisa in 25 mins , so time to get up sleepyhead." Beth said . Viv smiled at her calling her sleephead - then realised and exclaimed " wait I thought steffy was coming , not Lisa."
"I know Viv , but Steph bailed and it's already booked - it's not ideal I know." Beth said reassuring Viv. " for fucks sake" Viv exclaimed - with an angry look on her face. "Exactly my reaction- but come on we have to get ready!"
*skip 20 mins *
Viv and Beth were both ready and went and waited in the front of the car - waiting for Lisa , they were already 5 mins late . "For gods sake , could she get any worse" Beth said , annoyed at what happened last night too. Viv laughed gently and put her hand on Beth's thigh. Beth smiled at Viv. Ding . Ding. Beth's phone was going off and she went to check it. It says * steph- Lisa bailed out too , looks like it will be just you two! Enjoy it both of you , I'll be at arsenal if you need me beffy x* Beth smiled at this text and said towards Viv "it's just us too thankfully" Viv smiled back and began driving.

VIVS POV:
I was so happy it was only me and Beth- it was finally my chance , we were all alone , in a nice place . I was going to ask her to be my girlfriend.
As we walked up to the doors , I had butterflies in my stomach - I was so nervous to her answer. We sat down , I ordered a smoothie , and Beth ordered a flat white. She had her hand lay on the table , and took a sip from her cup. I looked up at her , and placed my hand on hers. She smiled cutely up at me "everything okay?" She said softly. " actually I have a question for you." I said , nervous as I bit down my teeth. " okay go ahead I'm listening." Beth said , confused. " these past few months , as I have got to know you - I have fell in love , your so pretty , clever , and most of all so comforting , soft , and very funny , so for that reason , Beth would you be my girlfriend?" I said , with a weak smile still worried " of course I'll be your girlfriend" Beth answered. Suddenly the butterflies from my stomach lifted and I was so happy. I interlocked my fingers with Beth's and we both smiled at eachother " I really do love you Viv" Beth said - with a soft smile. " I really love you too." I said back.
