chapter 31

Selever's POV: 

I was a bit sad when my grandad left, ok I was bawling but what do you expect? I'm just a kid! But my dad clearly had different expectations for me.... I just sometimes wished that he wasn't always such a grumpypants. He doesn't fuss over my little sister like that so why me? Anyways when he left, sarv announced that it was bath time and I made a dash for it. I am still learning to fly but i managed to get myself off the ground and dad tried to grab me and missed, haha. "SELEVER!!!! GET HERE THIS INSTANT OR ELSE!!!!!" yelled my dad, getting mad at me like usual. Sarv was busy washing up after breakfast but just shook her head at me at laughed " Sel, listen to your dad and if you come down and be a good boy, you can get some ice - cream, how does that sound?" said Sarv, drying a plate. Ice -cream? Yes please, so I immediately landed on the ground and ran over to mom." Good boy! You can have your ice-cream after your bath " she said, patting my head "Awwwwww, I can't have it now?" I said, pouting I was really looking forward to it. "You just had breakfast, I don't see why you should spoil him Sarv " said dad, sighing " I'm not, it's no harm to treat them now and again" said my mom, turning her back on us, making it clear that it was going to be her way. Dad took my hand and took me upstairs, " is Rasazy having a bath too?" I asked as my dad turned on the taps. " I'm not sure, now get undressed son and get into this bath " he said, not really listening to me. " OKKKKKKKKKKKK" I said, trying to take off my shoe and hopping on one leg but it was stuck and I fell over. Dad sighed " I can't take my eyes off you for one moment without you causing a big scene" he said, coming over to me and undoing my laces " you were meant to untie the laces before you take it off, silly" he said, taking off my other shoe. I giggled because it was funny when dad got mad. 

When I was ready to get into the bath, I realized that the water was too hot for me and burnt myself "OWWWWW! It's too hot for me" I said. "Stop acting like a baby and get in " said my dad crossly " but I burnt myself!" I said, showing him my hand, where I could still feel that burning feeling. My dad examined my hand and his face softened, "Ok maybe it was too hot" he said, running the cold tap, I really didn't want this bath especially after burning my hand. When I got in a second time, I was scared to get in " it's not too hot is it dad?" I said in a scared voice. " No it's not kid, I made sure it wouldn't be, it'll be ok, I promise " said my dad in a reassuring voice. So I got in and dad was right , it was a perfect temperature. " Now it isn't so bad, is it ? Also sorry for burning your hand there, is it it ok now " he said in a gentle voice. Why is he being weird? I rather if he was just his usual moody self, I don't get grown ups. "I'm ok dad, why are acting like Sarv?" I said, confused. Dad smiled at me, " dad was right, you'd be a good comedian " he said, walking out of the bathroom. Was some of grandad's attitude rubbing off on him, I hope not, I'm starting to not like grandad after all if he was going to make my dad like this. I just wanted my dad to act like his own self because I know that deep down that he loves me.

Ruv's POV:

I went downstairs to check on Sarv, she was in the kitchen putting the last mug in the cupboard. " Got the little demon into the bath for once " I said, for once speaking in a fond tone for once. I just can't believe that he would be afraid of water and yet he isn't afraid to make a fool of us, " that's good! " she said, smiling at me " that was actually a good idea to bribe him with ice-cream... A little bit of encouragement, right?" I said. " Sounds to me that you two are getting along for once " she said, I nodded " yeah, like once in a blue moon " I said " anyways, got to check up on him, hopefully he didn't try and drown himself "I said, going back upstairs. Even though he drives me crazy all the time, I sometimes wish that I could be little again and I could be myself without getting judged, maybe I was being a little bit too hard on him because I love him a lot.

A//N: Ok, I've been gone for nearly a year now XD but I managed to write this much, sorry for not publishing, I was really busy with school and had writers block a lot so yeah, hope you enjoyed this chapter.
