"Summer's officialy over today. Its my first day of 8th grade. Last year I graduated with no friends? will I have any this year??" I got out of bed and started putting on my uniform. "Katelyn! Hurry up!" my mom called from the bottom of the stairs. I did my last final touches to my makeup and grabbed my laptop,binder,pencil case and phone and ran down the stairs. "I'm here". I said gasping for air. "breakfast is on the table but first come take some back to school pics for me to put on Facebook!" my mom said with a smile. I dropped my stuff and walked over to her "backdrop" which was the window with the sun beaming in. "say first day!!" she said excitedly. I smiled and she took what felt like 100 photos. when she was done I took my seat at the table and ate my pancakes in peace. "day?" asked my nephew. "hmm?" I replied. "you going to school?" he has a speech problem. "yep,it's my first day boogabutt". I said acting happy. "come on K we gotta go". called my mom. Such a hectic morning. on the way to school my mom lectured me about what to do and what not to do. god this is going to be a long year isn't it. we arrived at the school and these two girls I knew were outside waiting for me. Ally and Grayson. they waved for me to come outside. I kissed my mom on the cheek and waved bye as she yelled "HAVE A GOOD DAY!!". she drove away and we all hugged. "how was y'all's summer?" asked Grayson. "good! it was really good!" said Ally. "how about yours Kate?" asked Grayson. "yeah it was okay." I said. then we saw her. Caroline.. walking down the sidewalk. I never liked her because she always shamed me and despised me. we all sighed and acted happy that she was here. none of us liked her. we talked for a little bit and then we went inside. we all had different homerooms so we would meet up at recess.
