Chapter one: Boo’s past

Growing up Boo was a somewhat good kid, he is the youngest in the family, though he always got in trouble with his brother Rein. Both of them wanted to become royal guards and or knights. And so they had Sir Sorrow to train them to do such thing. Life was good for the beloved royals until one night something bad happened… The kingdom was attacked by humans, they killed most of the people in the kingdom. Some went after the castle, they got into it and attacked the goddess of life, Boo's older sister Ran, Ran did put up a fight but was taken down and trapped in a book by magic, and Boo saw all of this from behind a wall. The humans had left. Boo ran out of the castle and tried to call for his brother, for anyone. Black smoke was in the air, it was hard to breathe. Boo sat there on the ground crying. Then someone came up to him, it was someone he met a while back, a friend of his. They went inside, his friend helped cheer him up a bit. The kid's name was Bad. After everything Boo was made king at 7 years old, this caused him a lot of stress and anxiety. Boo came across a small creature named Set. Set became a friend of sorts and promised to give him power, and maybe to be more powerful than his own sister. Of course Boo went along with this he was only 7, easy to manipulate.. After a while the local nether portal opened up and all the piglins came out of it in a panic, they told Boo that their home was under attack and they needed his help and so he agreed and went in with a sword. Their home was in ruins, blood everywhere. He saw a guard that was dying, Boo went to them and tried to ask what happened, all they said was a wall. Boo was confused then looked to a wall that was there and saw a body hung up by a spear and was getting eaten by endermites, Boo recognized the body and got it down. He held the body in his arms, the body was his best friend… His only friend… Boo cried his eyes out, tears of blood dropped into the lifeless body. Boo soon got out and ran out, he had a sudden urge to run and hide and so he did. Boo ran into a space between some buildings and hid in some boxes, still crying. A familiar voice called out his name and told him to come out, and so he did. Set was there. Boo didn't say anything, still traumatized about his friend. Set took advantage of this and manipulated Boo into running away from the kingdom and never come back by saying that all of this is his fault… Boo turned and ran out of the kingdom. He ran into the snowy forest and came across another castle, the castle belonged to the god of Cruelty, Boo knew him due to him babysitting Boo all the time. He ran up to the guards covered in blood and dirt and cold. They refused to let him in due to being scared of what would happen to him since the god was not in a good mental state due to the fall of the goddess of life. Boo ran away from the castle and into a not so far cave. Cold and alone, Boo was losing hope. He took off his crown and threw it aside, feeling unworthy of wearing it. Set appeared once more and gave Boo the promise he gave him. A mask would appear out of a cloud of darkness, Boo got up and took it. Set told him to put it on and so he did. Darkness surrounded Boo and he fell to his knees and screamed in pain… his scream echoed through the woods… the darkness became one with Boo. A long while later, with Boo  having this new power, felt unstable and went out to try and find his way back home to seek some kind of comfort. As he got there everyone ran to him to thank that he was back and safe but also demanding stuff immediately. This was overwhelming to him and he covered his ears. Then all the voices of the people went silent but a new voice was there. A more deeper and darker voice. It told him things that made his anger and sadness rise until he snapped. A cloud of darkness surrounded Boo. it knocked the people away from him. All that emotion formed the child into a monster of darkness. The thing attacked the people and the building. After all the damage the kingdom was in ruins. Everyone that was in the kingdom were dead except for some that were able to get out. The creature left the kingdom and ran into the woods. After all of this Boo didn't want this to happen again and so he made a book that would trap him inside of it. He sat the book on the ground and opened it. The book glowed and Boo was trapped within the book.
