MILLIES POV

I woke up in robins arms. He was holding me down protectively, making sure the grabber wouldn't hurt me. I tried to get up but I couldn't get out of his grasp, so I just laid there waiting for him to wake up.

He woke up later and looked down at me, smiling but very tired. We got up and made a plan, we knew we couldn't escape but we could fight our way out. We were both good fighters so together we might be able to beat him. Robin had the phone and I had the toilet seat.

We went over the plan and heard him coming down, we got ready. Right as he walked in the room I hit him in the head with the toilet seat, making him fall and groan in pain. As he was on the floor robin hit him over and over. Making him very weak.

Robin stopped hitting him, and the idea popped in my head. I grabbed the phone from him and put the cord around the grabber neck, strangling him.

After he almost passed out I broke his neck. I stood up and realized what I did. I killed a man, I mean he deserved it. But knowing I killed someone made me freak out.

I couldn't look at his body anymore. Robin could tell I was freaking out, so he hugged me. "Hey, hey it's okay. We're free, we made it out alive." I just felt the smile in his voice saying that last part.

We left the house, and started walking to our houses. We didn't say anything, just walked, we were so happy to see the sunlight. To walk free out, and see the whole world. We were in the basement for about a week.

We made it to our houses, looked at each other and nodded. I walked in my house and he walked in his.
I saw the back of my dads figure in a chair in the living room. "Dad?" I said softly.

He turned around and smiled so hard. "Millie! Your okay!" He ran to me and gave me the biggest hug, it felt like he was never going to let go. I couldn't breathe because of how hard he was hugging me.

He was crying followed by me, "I thought you were gone" he voice cracked, and his grip tightened. "Well I'm not, I'm here with you safe."
I smiled at that, finally being safe at home felt amazing.

Me and my dad hung out for a while, then I realized I had to see Miguel. "Where's Miguel?" "Oh yeah! He's in his room, you should go see him. He's been a mess without you."
I nodded and headed up to his room. As I was walking up I was wondering what was happening with Robin.

He was probably with his mom right now.
I walked into Miguel's room, only to see him passed out on his bed. He looked tired, drained. I shook him awake and when he saw me his eyes widened.

"Millie! I missed you so much. What happened??" He sounded happy, worried, confused and tired all at the same time.
I hugged him, and let go soon after.

"The grabber got me and Robin" I looked down a bit, thinking of everything made me wanna cry or something.

"Oh my god, I should've been there. I'm going to kill that bastard"
"Already beat you to it, and don't blame yourself. You couldn't have known"
"You killed him??"
"Yeah.." My voice went lower, I didn't like talking about that. Or any of it.

Miguel knew I didn't like talking about vulnerable stuff so he just brought something else up.
After a while of us catching up I told him I needed some time to myself, and I wanted to shower.

I got into the shower and just let the hot water run down my body. I couldn't look at my body without thinking of what he did. Every time I closed my eyes I saw everything that happened, me getting beat, Robin being passed out, the grabber taking me to that room, everything.

After the shower my thoughts kept spiralling. I couldn't take it anymore, I didn't feel anything anymore.
