Raine: whatever! I said while rolling my eyes.
Ace: stop rolling ur eyes at me.
Raine: or what u gonna give me a spanking, I said as I was pulling in the schools parking lot.
Ace: No! I will not give u a ride anymore.he said while leaning toward me.
It felt like I had a Minnie heart attack, he knew what he was doing.
Rain: are u flirting ace Huxley?
Ace: I don't know maybe I am
Raine: I want to smack u so hard
Ace: we'll? Do it! What are u waiting for? With a devilish smile on his face. I could feel his breath on my face. I knew he could hear my heart beat.
Raine: ur playing with fire. I was hella shy so this was a big step for me. But I wanted him to think I was brave and a dare devil. So I leaned a little closer. One movement and our lips would touch. I wanted them to. But I knew he didn't like me like that. No one ever liked me I guess bc I was powerful and they were scared of me anyways.
Ace: ok! Daredevil, u win but next time I will win. He said in his husky wolf voice. Of course always with a smile.
Raine: is this school appropriate?
Ace: nah, but u look beautiful. I blushed as he said those words to me.i could feel my stomach do flips. He thought I was beautiful. I blushed so hard it felt like my cheeks were on fire.
Ace: are u blushing?
Raine: pfft, No!
Ace: aww u are. We are friends but sometimes we act more than just friends. We get out of the car grab our backpacks. And walk through the doors. My lungs tighten and I feel like I can't breath, it feels like everyone is starting at me. Just when I start to feel like I'm having a panic attack, ace touches my hand to tell me it's ok. Ace knows me more than I know myself. I don't mind tho.
(4 hours pass) it's time to go home. Ace meets me at my classroom door, I hate walking alone.
Ace: hello, how was it?
Raine: ok, I guess
Ace: why do u guess
Raine: bc they were talking Abt me. I could hear them.
Ace: what Abt April?
Raine: what Abt her?
Ace: did she keep u company
Raine: yeah a little
Ace: why a little
Raine: bc she was pretty pissed. She wanted to ripp them in to little pieces. She was trying to push through and I wouldn't let her, I thought I was going to lose control.
Ace: it's ok, I'm here now, right
Raine: right. We hop in the car and turn on our favorite song. Half way through it I turn it down
Ace: what are u doing?
Raine: calling my mom.
