Steve and Dustin were speechless. They both spoke in unison. "The gate."
"I don't understand. You've seen this before?" Robin asked them. "Not exactly." Dustin answered.
"Then, what exactly?"
"All you need to know is that it's bad."
"Really bad." Steve quoted.
"Like, end-of-human-race-as-we-know-it kind of bad." Dustin explained to you all.
"And you know about this how?" You wondered.
"Um, Steve? Where's your Russian friend?" Erica queried, referring to the Russian that Steve had knocked out.

"Shit." Steve whispered as he opened the door to find a group of soldiers. As they saw Steve, they advanced. He slammed the door as you all ran back towards the observation room. You all burst through the door and stopped. Seven of the Russian scientists looked at us. You all ran downstairs and into the 'rift chamber?' as the soldiers bursted in. You all scurried across a catwalk. As the soldiers got closer, you all ran in an opposite direction and down a set of stairs. "This way!" Robin commanded as you all ran into a room. Steve held the door closed with his body weight. "Help me!" He grunted. You and Robin rushed over to help him keep the door closed. Erica and Dustin ran out of the room to try and find another way out. "Come on!" Dustin told us.
"Just get out of here!" Steve yelled back.
"Come on now!"
"No! Just go get some help!"
"What are you doing?"
"Go!" You, Robin and Steve said in unison.
"I won't forget you." Dustin said as if this was the last time he was going to see us. "GO!" You all yelled back as him and Erica continued to run out of the room.

The door flung open, and sent you, Steve and Robin flying and a dozen soldiers stormed in.

~

You, Robin and Steve were tied up in chairs, you against the wall and Steve and Robin back to back. "Hey! Wait," you caught the Russian's attention. "Um why are those two together and, I'm not?" He just growled at you when you asked so you widened your eyes and stayed silent until he left. "Okay..." you whispered. "Steve, wake up. Steve!" Robin tried to get Steve to wake up as he was unconscious in his chair. "Don't touch him!" You yelled as a Russian lifted up his head with his hair, his face covered in blood and swollen.

"Steve, can you here me?" Robin asked.
"I think your friend need a doctor." The Russian spoke. "Good thing... we have the very best." He laughed manacled. The other soldiers joined in the laugh. He turned to face Robin. "Robin!" You yelled. The Russian looked at you with a deadly glare. You took deep breaths to calm you down. This was the most scared you had ever been, in fact it was the first time you had been scared since you can remember. He turned back to Robin and she spat in his face. "You are going to regret that, маленькая сучка." They all left the room, leaving just you Robin and Steve tied up. "Bastards! Let us out!" You and Robin overlapped each other yelling at them to let you out. The doors slammed shut.

~

"Hey would you stop yelling." Steve had finally woke up. "Steve! Oh my god! Are you okay?"
"My ears are ringing, and i can't really breath." Steve went on. You thought back to when you were trapped in the elevator and you and Robin were talking. You wish you could tell her now, Steve's here. Stupid Russian elevator. What if we hadn't gotten a job at Scoops? We would just be at home, talking about girls. "Okay, do you see that table over there to your right?" Robin asked Steve. Steve looked to his left. "No your other right." Robin corrected as he looked to his right. "And do you see those scissors?"
"Uh-uh."
"Yeah, well, I think if we move at the same time, we could get over there, and maybe I could kick the table and knock them into your lap." Robin explained. "And I could cut the binds." Steve finished. "Yeah, and we could get out of here." You spoke.

"Gotcha. Okay, yeah, we can do that. Those morons. They left scissors in here?"
"Yeah morons!" You and Robin bellowed.
"Okay, so, on the count of three, we're gonna hop." Robin explained to Steve. They tried to get the scissors and you just sat there with your thoughts. She's so pretty. Max. It's such a pretty name. It suits her. God she doesn't even know me. The only time she speaks to me is when it's pairs work. I love her so much. And with that final thought, several Russians came barging in and picked Steve and Robin off the floor. You didn't even notice that they had fell. "Where were you two going?" He stood inches away from Steve's face. "Try telling the truth this time, yes? It will make your visit with Dr. Zharkov less painful." The doctor approached Steve with an injection gun filled with blue liquid. "Wait a second. Wait. Hold on. Okay! Wait, wait, wait! What is this thing?" Steve panicked.
"It will help you talk." The doctor spoke and he grabbed Steve's hair and injected the fluid.

~

"Honestly, I don't really feel anything. Do you?"
"No." You replied.
"I mean, I... I feel fine. I feel normal." Robin answered. "I kinda feel good." You giggled. It was clear that you were all high as fuck. "Wanna know a secret?" Robin turned to you, this time you were tied onto the side of Robin and Steve's chairs, so it was more she tried to look at you. "Yeah?"
"I like it too." She told you. Steve spoke his words kind of stumbled. "Morons. They messed up the drug."
"Yeah, Morons!" You and Robin shouted again and laughed. "Oh, no. There's definitely something wrong with us." Just the the door opened once more. The Russian and the doctor from before, Ozerov and Zharkov, and the doctor was carrying a briefcase of tools.

He layed down a tray of them and picked up a bone saw. "W- would now be a good time to tell you that I don't like doctors?" Your voice trembled and your head shook at the last words. He went up to Steve and continued to question him. "Let's try this again, yes? Who do you work for?"
"Scoops. Scoops ahoy." Steve let out a small chuckle and you and Robin tried to contain your laughter, Ozerov however, didn't seem to find it funny. "How did you find us?" He questioned Steve again.
"Totally by accident." He responded.
"больше лжи." He spoke to the doctor. He took a pair of stainless steel plyers from the tray. "What is that shiny little toy?" You were amazed by the shiny tool and (tried) to follow your head around to see it more. "Where you going with that doc?" Robin did the same.

He grabbed one of Steve's fingers and calmed the plyers on his fingernail. This made you all sober up and over lap.
Steve: woah! Woah, hey. Wait!
Robin: there was a code we heard a code!
You: It was a code!
"Code. What code?" He asked and Robin responded. "The week is long. The silver cat feeds when blue meets yellow in the west. Blah, blah, blah." Ozerov had a shocked and annoyed look on his face. You explained to him on how it happened. "You broadcast that stupid spy shit all over town, and we picked it up on our cerebro, and we cracked it in a day. A day! You think you're so smart, but a couple of kids who scoop ice cream for a living cracked your code in a day, and now, people know you're here."
"Who knows we're here, little bitch?" His voice was angry. "Ugh well, Dustin knows." Steve just ruined the whole plan. "Hey Steve?" Robin tried to get him to shut up. "Yeah, Dustin Henderson, he knows."
"Steve!" Robin groaned. And you let out a sigh. Oh my fucking god, we're dead.

"Dustin Henderson. It is your small, curly-haired friend?" Ozerov walked back to face Steve.
"Oh, curly-haired. Great hair. Small. Kind of like a 'fro. Yeah."
"Where is he?"
"He's long gone, you big ass home. And he's probably calling Hopper, and Hopper's calling the US cavalry." Steve chuckled. "They're gonna come in here, commando-style, guns a-blazin', and Russia. You're gonna be two pieces of toast." Steve snickered and mad Ozerov lean in. "Is that so?"
"Yeah" You Robin and Steve laughed when and alarm sounded. Steve smirked at Ozerov to say 'i told you so.' Just then Dustin burst in screaming and charged an electric rod into his heart. "Hey! Henderson." You greeted.

"That's crazy we were just talking about you." Dustin loosened the the straps that binded us all together. "Get ready to run."
