LET'S DATE: PART -3
"Haruto," junkyu said in a wisper when his eyes met with the taller boy, who was standing there with a Stoic face, his hands were forming in a fist with a clenched jaw. His staring was so intense which made the other boy uncomfortably move in his chair, he couldn't maintain the look of the other so he decided to advert his eyes from the latter.
"What are you doing here?" Haruto asked while leaning over the table.
Their close proximity was making Junkyu flustered so he awkwardly lean back to the chair as much as he can to create some space between them.
"I-i should a-ask the same question?" He questioned back, and look behind haruto when he saw hana was also there waving at him while wearing a sweet smile. Junkyu looked really confused, but nonetheless he smiled back and looked at haruto once again.
Haruto didn't replied, he was just staring at him, his eyes were telling him something which junkyu couldn't understand.
Hana noticed the tense atmosphere between them so she decided to broke it, "ah, well we are also here for our date, and also to suprised you guys." She said and locked her arms with haruto. Junkyu glanced at her hands which were linked with haruto arms.
Something clenched inside his heart, he tried to forget that feeling and tried to smile at her, he once again glanced at haruto, when the latter pulled out his hands from hana. " Sudden change of plan?" Junkyu asked.
"Why aren't you happy to see us?" Haruto asked while crossing his arms around his chest. There is a hint of anger and hurt in his voice that junkyu couldn't catch it properly.
"No it's no like that, I just didn't expect to see you guys here," he tried to defend himself. But the latter cut him.
"Even I didn't expect that you will be on a date with someone else" he mockingly said and looked at Yoshi and then at Junkyu.
Junkyu looked baffled, after hearing what the other said, "w-what? d-date?, what are you talking about?"
"Stop playing around Kim Junkyu," Haruto shouted at him which made junkyu flinched from fear he widden his eyes and stared at haruto.
He was in shock because the younger never shouted at him like that, yes they bicker a lot but they never had any argument which led them to shout at eachother. Junkyu couldn't comprehend what's wrong with haruto Today.
Junkyu clearly told him the day before his date with hana, that she liked beaches so take her to one, rather than taking her to a beach he showed up here to the exact same place where he and Yoshi decided to hangout. Not only this the younger even raised his voice at him, but did junkyu know the reason behind it?, ofcourse not, he didn't know the reason, which is making the older really confused and anxious. The younger even saying stupid things which aren't making any sense to Junkyu.
Junkyu stared at haruto for second, he tried to uttered some words but the latter was fast to cut him. "So at the end it's Yoshi hyung huh!" Haruto wisper his words and intently stared at Junkyu eyes.
Junkyu saw pain and sadness in his eyes, but he tried to ignored it, as he is not sure, what his eyes were seeing is true? or its just his mind playing tricks with him.
Junkyu thought that the younger misunderstood the things about him and Yoshi is going on a date, and that he was hurt and upset because junkyu didn't told him about his date, as they were bestfriend and didn't hide anything to each other. So he concludes that's the reason why the younger is reacting like this.
But it's crystal clear to Yoshi about why the younger was behaving like a kid whose favourite toy is being taken by somone else. The toy who chersish the most.
