Kai was currently on the phone with one of her closest male friends , who was also her god brother .

"Eh , that hoe nast ." Dougie said , sassy . Making Kai laughing.
Dougie was just getting home from the hospital. When he got home , the first person he called was his sister.

"Nah but sis , you ready for the gender reveal?" Dougie asked Kai , changing the subject from what they were talking bout earlier.

Kai nodded her head , smiling . She was very excited for the gender reveal. She was also very excited to get her money from Kay once the baby turns out the be a boy .

"I heard you and Kay made a bet ." Dougie laughed from the other side of the FaceTime .

"Yep , and imma win fasho." Kai said , causing dougie and herself to laugh.

"How much y'all bet ?" Dougie asked .

"50." Kai replied . Dougie nodded his head .

Kai and dougie continued to talk on the phone until dougie told her was going to take a shower . The duo said their goodbyes before hanging up the phone .

After hanging up , Kai got a message from ms Perez .

Opening the message, it was about the baby shower .

'Hey baby , do you think you could come over so we could talk bout the planning for the gender reveal tmr ?'

The message read . Kai replied with a 'of course' and sent it . After sending the message, she liked it .

Kai then got out of bed and went down stairs , as she walked down , Kay was walking in the house .

She looked at her boyfriend and noticed the stressed look on his face .

"What's wrong baby ?" She asked as she walked towards him. She hugged her boyfriend and he wrapped his arms around her waist .

"Nun ma, I'm just tired." He told her , but she could tell when he was lying .

"You're lying . What's wrong fr?" She asked again. This time Kay looked her in her eyes before smushing his head into her neck, arms around her waist.

The couple stood in front of the door , holding each other .

They stood there for a few minutes before Kay said something .

"I'm turning myself in." He mumbled into Kai's neck. Kai pulled away from her boyfriend in shock.

"Wha do you mean." She said still shocked .

"What about the baby ? What about the gender reveal coming up?" She added . Kay shook his head , with a stressed look still on his face.

"Ma, it's better if I turn myself in , then being arrested in front of you and my baby." He said , wiping the tears that started running down Kai's face .

"Ma , I promise you imma call everyday." He said , still wiping the tears .

"But that's not the same when I see you everyday." She mumbled . She was heartbroken that her boyfriend decided to turn his self in. She wished that she talked him out of doing what he did , but if she was him , she would've did the same thing for her brother

"That's okay , we still have some time left together." He said , still holding his girlfriend .

She looked up at her boyfriend , stop crying since she didn't want him to go in.

"When do you go in?" She asked him."

"In two weeks. Until then , imma make it up to you and our baby." Kay told her , rubbing her stomach as he pulled away from her .
