From Alaska With Love

Three ships power through a massive tropical storm, Their decks soaked and the seas around them violent

"Alaska, Why are we out here in this horrible weather?" A Royal navy cruiser, HMS Sheffield asks as she looks at her sonar, "there is nothing out here", "Yes there is Sheffield, You and your sister peel off and go back to port, I can handle the waves better", Sheffield just nods as her and her sister pull off and head back to port

Within minutes of them leaving Alaska as escorts, The seas calmed down, The rain stopped, Alaska walked down and stood at the front most part of her ship, And stared at the water

"I'm here now, What do you want", From the mist, and Covered by darkness, An imposing vessel emerged, The design old, the guns designed for a different war, HMS Dreadnought

"I am sorry I had to bring you from slumber out to these dreadful waters", Dreadnought said as she appeared behind Alaska, "it's hard to even get Code G to allow me off my leash, So when I saw this opportunity, I took it", Dreadnought says with a smile, Her body language that of a older women trying to seduce a younger interest

"Stop with the flirting and get to the point", Alaska says as she turns around and stares at Dreadnought, Dreadnought sighs and nods, "I called for you for a simple reason, You are balancing on the tightrope between Metamorphosis, And totally insanity", Dreadnought says as she stares at Alaska, "That little stunt you pulled, Reaching deep into the future of warfare, Bringing something no one has seen, And striking down two of the Sakura Empire's best, You are a mystery, And I don't like mysteries", Dreadnought points her sword at Alaska, And speaks, "Are you, USS Alaska, Ship Born with no purpose, A threat to humanity, Or will you help aid the people of the world in regaining the oceans of the world"

Enterprise stood atop of her flight deck, Staring out at the open ocean that meets the Azur lane bay, waiting, Watching, Hoping Alaska makes it back safely

"Miss Enterprise, You have been standing here for awhile", Belfast walks up behind Enterprise, she turns to look at Belfast and nods, "I'm waiting for Alaska, Her escorts arrived Nine hours ago, I'm worried" Belfast just nods and stands beside Enterprise, "you love her, Don't you" Belfast says with a smile on her face, Enterprise blushes and steps back, "What gave you that idea!!?" Belfast just giggles and looks directly at Enterprise

"When I was assigned to you, You always kept a small medallion in your pocket, Her medallion from when the two of you served together", Belfast points to Enterprise, She giggles as Enterprise just sighs, "I can't deny....I have feelings for her.....She just has a thing you know?", Enterprise pulls the silver medallion out of her coat pocket and holds it up

"She gave this to me before I was reassigned...Then a month later she died", Enterprise tears up a little, "I left our relationship in a horrible situation, I went at her for what happened to her sister, And her response was to give me her ships Medallion" Enterprise shakes her head and pockets the medallion, "it made me feel horrible, And I still can't forgive myself for the things I said to her"

Belfast smiles and places a hand on Enterprise's shoulder, "I think she has forgiven you, Maybe she hasn't, I don't think she would hold it against you, People change...You definitely have" Belfast smiles and walks away. Enterprise stands there, Alone with her thoughts, A few seconds later the sound of a horn draws her attention

Entering the harbor now is USS Alaska, Enterprise smiles and waves at the ship, Her heart flutters as she walks over to Alaska's dock, Her steps very bouncy and filled with joy

"Good morning Enty!", Alaska says as her ship comes to a stop, She jumps down and hugs Enterprise. Enterprise wraps her arms around Alaska and smiles, "I'm glad you're safe, did you get lost?", Enterprise asks as Alaska pulls away from the hug, Her eyes filled with excitement and joy, "Yeah, that storm was pretty intense", Alaska says to Enterprise

Alaska stands in her room staring at a map of the North Atlantic sea, She places her finger on a place off the Iron blood coast, "Jutland....The proving grounds of Dreadnoughts", She mumbles to herself, She looks from the map at the wall clock, "why tell me this, Why does Jutland matter so much", Alaska sits on her bed and groans

"All this time these Dreadnoughts have been stalking me, Since the Bearing Sea dash to the Fall of Anchorage, Why do they care so much about me", Alaska shakes her head and lies down, Her mind going at a mile a minute

Just then a knock comes from her door and in walks her lovely Enterprise, Smiling at Alaska, Enterprise lies down beside Alaska and pulls her into her arms, "that storm must've taken all of your energy, You usually don't get this tired in the afternoon", Alaska just hums in response and listens to Enterprise's heart beat, The calming sound soothing Alaska's worrying mind

"You're special to me 'Laska, you don't realize it yet, but you mean so much to me", Enterprise says to Alaska, She looks down and notices the girl is already asleep, "Hehe~ sweet dreams my Knight~", Enterprise kisses the top of Alaska's head and closes her eyes
