From Alaska With Love

The scars of Yesterday Build Our tomorrow

"Alaska..........."

All around her, all she saw was black the sound of water dripping echoed through out the black abyss, Her body felt warm but heavy, the wounds on her body were gone but still burnt with pain

"Alaska.......Wake..........Up"

Her eyes slowly fluttered open, around her was a hospital suite she had grown accustomed to seeing back before she sank all those years ago, But something was different this time, on the table beside her hospital bed, was a vase of Blue and White roses, and a few get well soon cards clearly made by the destroyer girls, a small glass of water sat just in reach of her

but her eyes landed upon something, or should I say, Someone using a small portion of the bed to rest their head, This person was none other than her dear commander Klein, wearing her uniform and all

"Mmmmh~", Klein moved her head slightly and sat up, her sleepy eyes slowly fixating on the now awake Cruiser, "Alaska! Oh thank god you're awake", Klein quickly wrapped Alaska in a big, loving hug making the cruiser stiffen up, only to melt into her touch, "Thank you commander, I appreciate you not slapping me", Alaska sorely jokes causing her to force a pained laugh

"Hai Hai! seems like our Reckless Queen of Snow has awakened", Vestal says as she walks through the Medical room's door, her eyes also laced with a hidden tiredness, Her body language was that of a tired doctor, "You gave us quite the scare Alaska, you should be lucky i was awake when you got here, Lost a lot of blood, broken ribs, concussion, You are a walking trip to Bed rest", Alaska looks to Vestal as she Vestal speaks, Alaska sighs in disappointment and looks down at her hands, "I failed my mission too, they'll have the ports operational in a few days"

(Yeah these small paragraphs are fun and all but make it a bitch to spell check so back to the other convo style)

Klein: That's fine Alaska, because you did a good enough job that we secured something that could win us the war

Alaska: Yeah? like what?

Klein: I can't tell you out of worry for your own safety, just know it ties directly to the sirens

Alaska looks at Klein with doubt and just sighs

Alaska: Fine, Fine, when can i walk around again?

Vestal: Well you've been out cold for a week, so now actually

Alaska and Klein share a smile as Alaska slips from the Hospital bed, her feet touching the ground, Only for her to hit the floor

Klein: Alaska!?! you ok?

Alaska: I'm Fine! sea legs aren't land legs yet

Alaska chuckles and stands up slowly, her eyes filled with a hopeful shimmer

Vestal: Im getting a nap, Good day commander

Klein just smiles and nods to Vestal who has already walked out of the room towards her room to take a well deserved nap, She turns back to Alaska who is now brushing her hair

Alaska: I just don't get it, they had this......Ability to overwhelm me without me even noticing

Alaska shake her head and sighed. Klein walked over to the poor girl and gripped her shoulder

Klein: it's ok, you did perfectly Alaska, you have no need to fret over the small details right now

Alaska stood on Docks and watched as the Manjuus worked on repairing her ship, holes and burn marks litter the Hull and a massive gash from a downed Zero stains the Super structure, the flag of the Eagle Union in tatters on the bow and Aft of her ship

"Surprised you are up this quickly", Alaska turns towards the voice and her eyes land on the ships that helped her, SMS König, a Dreadnaught of the Old iron blood, "you took quite the beating, Albatross didn't think you would survive, she has always been a worry wort", König just laughs and walks past Alaska

"Yeah, glad I'm alive", Alaska mumbled as she looks up at her ship before walking away.......The port around her bustles with other ship girls enjoying the afternoon hours, "Miss Alaska, Good to see you are back", The Maid Belfast says as she walks up to Alaska, "You wouldn't believe how worried enterprise was.....We were all worried", Alaska just chuckles and shakes her head, "You didn't need to worry, I'm fine, just a little beat up"

Belfast just stares down the large Cruiser only to sigh and nod

Belfast: You're probably right, someone of your stature wouldn't so easily be taken down by those things

Alaska: Things?

Belfast: Yeah, those siren planes that attacked Your saviors, they said you woke up and looked different, your clothes were darker and your eyes were blood red.....

Alaska:....What is this thing that can win us the war? I need to see it, Now

Belfast jumps a little at how direct Alaska starts to be, Noticing a change in posture and breathing

Belfast: Follow me

Belfast lead Alaska to a school room, at the front of the class stood Hornet, Langley, Amazon, and Prince of Wales

Hornet: B-Belfast what are you doing the commander ordered us not to show her this

Belfast: I trust Alaska enough to fulfill her request

Alaska walks past all of them and stops infront of the black wisdom cube, her eyes staring holes in it

Alaska: this is what Akagi is using to control those siren ships?

Hornet: We aren't exactly sure, but we assume so

Alaska reaches out and touches, Everyone backs away as a red spark comes off Alaska

Alaska stands in that black abyss again......Soon the sound of fire raging and water dripping fills the abyss, around her are the wrecks of Other Alaska class Large cruisers......all with the name.......... Guam

"So.....You've finally found me", Alaska looks to the voice, Her body shaking in disbelief and confusion

"Took you long enough......Sister~"

(BAM SURPRISE CHAPTER, anyways yeah this one is probably gonna suck because I wrote this on my phone to see if I couldn't get a few chapters out while down here in Florida
