It's time to start the year. What better way then to prepare a stage and give a speech.
Rigurd: Please my lords, give us a few words!
Rimuru: Right!
Jasper: Why so worked up?
Rimuru: It's gonna be our first spot light in the new year! We have to make it look good!
Shuna: We even have some special ceremonial New Year's outfits for you both.
Jasper: Really?
Rimuru: Yes, to that!
After a bit of time, we walked out with our new outfits on.
{A/N: Jasper's outfit closely resembles Manas Michael's, except it's blue and yellow}
Both: Happy new year everyone!
Everyone: Happy new year our lords!
I looked back at Rimuru, who was in his Slime form with a weird fruit headwear given by Shuna.
Jasper (You look weird.)
Rimuru (They aren't wearing fruit...)
Later
Me, Shuna, and Souka were walking down the hall towards the office. In the way, I couldn't help but notice the nice Kimono's they were wearing.
Despite always wearing one, Shuna makes the Kimono look very appealing. And it's always an absolute eye catcher when Souka wears them, even if it's not often.
Souka: Something on your mind Prince Jasper?
Jasper: No, I 'm just thinking about how beautiful those Kimono's are on you both...
They both blushed.
Shuna: T-thank you...
Souka: I-It's appreciated...
When we got close, we could hear what sounded like... crying?
Souka: Is that Shion and Rigurd?
Shuna: Why are they crying?
I opened the door to reveal Rimuru sitting on the desk, with Shion and Rigurd balling their eyes out while their both holding something.
Rigurd: I could not be more grateful for this generous gift!
Shion: Lord Rimuru's ball... Lord Rimuru's ball...
Jasper: I-I'm sorry... Rimuru's what!?
They both suddenly ran over to me.
Rigurd: Do you have some balls for us as well, my Prince!?
Shion: I want Prince Jasper's ball too!
Jasper: I'm sorry... MY WHAT!?
Rimuru looked away with a nervous expression.
Jasper (What did you do!?)
Rimuru (I kind of dropped the ball by giving them some rocks I found, that I made into balls...)
Jasper (My man, you know they don't get any of your damn jokes...!)
Later on, the both of us were in the office and I heard footsteps approaching. I quickly ran to the door and opened it to reveal Milim on the other side wearing a kimono.
Milim: Hey! I wanted to surprise you both!
Jasper: You are not killing another innocent door on my watch!
Milim: Whatever... anyways, what do you both think? I look cute, right? Say I look cute already!
Jasper: You do look cute in that Kimono.
