You're here. You're truly here. Breathing and living again before him. He couldn't believe it. Even if this is only the second day of your return. It was wonderful to know that you've been given the gift of life. But despite the gift, Freddy was haunted when he gazed upon you. Unable to shake the images of that night.

Your tattered and torn body. The blood that leaked from your bruises and cuts. That shaky breath leaving your lips. The way you looked up at him when he finally held you in his arms. Begging him to remain there with you. To protect you.

Had he kept his promise? He's waited for you. And to be here seeing you now, somehow he felt cheated. Why couldn't the two of you be whole. Not spirits trapped in this demons playground. You stood with the others, baring the same fate they all had. (A second chance of life.)

He can't believe it worked. That you were here and talking again. He can't believe that he had been blessed to be in your presence once more. That he could see your shimmering (E/C) eyes again. That he could maybe even feel your touch against his skin. But fate was too cruel to allow this to be a joyful reunion.

Instead, you were in danger once again. This time by a much stronger force than shadow. (With more demons at play than just one.)

Why he really wanted you and the puppet was a mystery to Freddy. Even though goldie said the reason he didn't quite believe it. (But the memories of his childhood are faded. Too foggy for him to grasp onto aside from knowing you and the others and faintly seeing the traces of his own mother deep in his mind. If he had a hard time now recalling those events, apart from death, how was he to recall who your father was?)

Freddy wished that you and him could spend some time alone with one another. Wished that he could speak to you about that night. About, that kiss before. That for a fleeting moment the two of you could share an intimate moment together.

But a good time hasn't come up, despite the short time thats pass the two of you on by. He wanted so badly to speak about it as soon as possible. But it simply felt inappropriate approaching you on the subject. Especially now, as you informed everyone about shade discovering your awakening.

Freddy was lost in his thought, staring at you from what he could see behind Bonnie and Chica as they shoved their way in front of him. Their words drowned out. But then you spoke. Grabbing him from within his mind gently.

"I want freddy to walk with me." Your voice called out his name. Beckoning for his attention. Snapping him out of his thoughts. Freddy blinked rapidly, momentarily confused at the conversation.

"What?!" Bonnie shouted a bit.
"That's not fair, come on princess choose me instead!"

"No! I should walk you to Vincent, we can catch up along the way!" Chica begged for you to reconsider. But your mind was made as you locked eyes with him. Something unspoken behind the way they stared.

Freddy used the context clues of the conversation to finally understand what it was you wanted him to do. As he stared back at you freddy understood now. He understood just why you had chosen him. It made his heart sore. But despite the feeling within he merely smiled as he offered his hand to you. Though not with out confirmation. He wanted to be sure this is really what you want.

"Are you sure this is what you want?" Freddy spoke cautiously. Feeling that burning gaze from his brother, a gaze that screamed in bitterness at the display. You didn't seem to notice as you placed your hand in his.

"I-I can't think of anyone better to walk with me." You muttered. Just soft enough for him and him alone to hear.

Freddy's heart pounded heavily in his chest hearing you say such a thing. His hopes soared, would this be the chance he wanted? A chance to finally be alone with you. He's waited so long.
