OUR LITTLE staring competition ended when we finally arrived at madi's. i saw nick coming down the drive way and rolled down my window and waved with a big cheesy smile.
nick just always made me feel safe and comfortable everytime i'm around him, no real idea why he's just always been there for me.
"OMG SYD!!" nick screams with an excited smile.
he gets in behind matt's seat and scoots closer to me and gives me a hug, nick and i always hug like we haven't seen eachother in forever even if we just saw eachother yesterday, which we literally did.
but that's okay, everybody needs a friend like that, and mine was nick.
"i feel like i haven't you in forever because somebody hogs you all the time," nick says as he side eyes chris. i laugh at his gesture and look over at chris staring at me then looking to nick.
"oh real funny nick, sorry i like to spend quality time with MY bestfriend," christopher returned with a bit of attitude.
"oh well i'd get to spend QUALITY time with her if you didn't hog her so much!" nick exclaimed.
"nick fuck o-"
"CAN YOU GUYS ACTUALLY STOP," matt chimes in from the drivers seat.
"we all spend time with syd! she's OUR bestfriend! jesus christ!" matt added.
i sigh and look out the window as void by the neighborhood faintly plays in the back.
"she's actually just my bestfriend but-"
"CHRIS."
"CAN YOU ACTUALLY SHUT THE FUCK UP"
WE ARRIVED at the local music store next to my house because i've been needing new guitar strings. this music store had to have been my favorite i've ever been to, maybe because my bestfriend lina and her brother jacob work there but also everybody there is so nice and easy to talk to.
we walked through the glass doors leading into the store, the little bell above the doors ringing slightly, chris actually broke it one time because he ran in and pushed open the door to fast and somehow it literally flew off.
it took them 2 days to fix it.
"hey synnie!" jacob smiles and waves his hand towards me.
"hey jake!" i replied while walking over to his register, he puts up a little white sign that says closed so we could all talk for a little bit.
"hey guys!" jacob smiles even bigger when he sees the triplets following behind me.
they wave at jacob and start to walk closer over to the register. we all talk for while then i remember what i actually came here for.
"well i'm gonna go get some guitar strings i'll be back," i explain.
i hear footsteps behind me but don't really think anything of it because there's a lot of people in here so i don't mind.
i'm almost to the guitar strings and then i feel arms slowly snake their way around my waist and somebody goes..
"BOO!"
i screamed and then elbowed them in the stomach to be released just to see chris.
"are you fucking kidding christopher owen?" i say as cross my arms over my chest looking at him with an unimpressed look.
"BRUH"
"OH MY GOD."
"WHY DID THAT ACTUALLY HURT SO BAD"
i start to laugh at him bent over clutching his stomach and walk over and help him up.
WE REACH THE guitar area and i look behind me to make sure chris is still behind me, which he is but he usually just wonders off in random directions.
once i grab the ones i need we head up to the register and i see lina's is open so i walk up to hers.
"hey lina," i smiled while giving her the 2 packs of guitar strings i decided to get two just so i don't have to come back next time.
"hey syd and her little lost dog!" she smirks.
"huh?" i hear chris say from behind me.
"oh come on chris, you follow synnie around literally around everywhere, like you don't even care where you guys are going. you would literally follow her off a cliff." she shakes her head in disbelief while laughing to herself.
i feel chris wrap his arm around my shoulder and say, "first one all, i don't follow synnie everywhere. and second of all, i would not follow her off a cliff id lead her away from it, duh?" he retorted as he rolled his eyes.
it felt weird when chris called me synnie, because nobody ever really called me that unless it was jacob or lina. not a bad weird just like funny in my stomach... but i liked it???
