"Do you want to see the fireworks with me?" Brought up Lucio, a few hours before midnight.

Andre looked over to him, smiling, "Are you asking me out on a date?"

"Maybe?" Lucio didn't know how to go out with someone, nor what to do in a relationship. Ever since the closet, they haven't kissed since, nor held or touched each other out of his own awkwardness and he was tired of it.

"Okay then, what time should we leave?" Andre didn't have to worry about Morgan or Remus because they can never stay up late to watch them anyway, he trusted that Genesis would watch over them. And Celia was already in bed being watched by one of her aunts.

"How about in an hour? There's a festival going on downtown for it and I think it would be nice." Their city always held a new year's festival, but Lucio could never attend. He didn't want to be alone.

"Okay, I'll see you in an hour." Andre kissed Lucio's cheek before walking away to his room.

Once he was alone, he slumped against his door. He was overwhelmed with emotions, unable to process what just happened. Andre hadn't been on a proper date in years, he forgot what was supposed to happen on one.

The last proper date he had been on with another man didn't end well. He knew Lucio was different, but he could shake the trauma of what happened before.

But in turn, he was looking forward to the date, even if it was last minute. He really liked Lucio and wanted to go out with him. For once he was looking forward to a date with another guy.

He got ready, putting on some warm clothes, his coat, and the gloves Lucio got him for the holidays.

He went outside to find Lucio already waiting for him by the car, his breath visible in the air. He was wearing something similar to what he wore on the outing, a black coat and white sweater. The only thing he added was a gray scarf that wrapped around half his face.

"You look warm." snickered Andre, putting his hands in his pocket.

"It's cold," Lucio turned to hold the door open, "After you?"

Andre let out a sarcastic laugh, "Ha, ha, what a gentleman."

Lucio just laughed before entering the car himself. He told the driver where to go and the two sat back and waited. For a moment it was awkward, neither looking nor saying anything to each other it was more the fact they didn't know what to do.

Lucio had never dated anyone before, he didn't know what he should be doing at that moment. He felt Andre slide his gloved hands over his own, giving him a simple squeeze.

"You can relax Lucio," he reassured, "it's just me."

"I know that. It's just..." Lucio trailed off, "I've never been on a date before, I don't know what to do."

"That's okay, I haven't been on a date in years."

"Really? But you're so pretty!" To Lucio, Andre was extremely pretty, handsome, and every beautiful word in the dictionary.

Andre scratched at his arm, "After my girlfriend left, I only dated one other person. And that was years ago now."

"I guess I'm lucky then." Lucio was trying to be cocky, but the comment came out more sincere than a joke.

"You are." Andre leaned over and kissed him. It was short and sweet, but enough to get Lucio stuttering.

"I–Uh..." Lucio didn't even remember what he was going to say.

Andre just let out a chuckle, pulling the other closer to him so Lucio was resting on his shoulder. The man was a mess, still shaking from nerves. He looked up to Andre, seeing him calm and collected, he wondered what was going through his mind.
