"Taro!"
The excited, atypically loud exclamation is a disruptor to the quiet atmosphere of the cafe, Seonghwa pausing from wiping down a table to glance over his shoulder to watch Soul make a beeline toward a man he's never seen before and doing something quite out of character for him, which is give the man the tightest hug one would think not possible.
"I've missed you so much!"
Seonghwa closes his mouth, feeling too warm in the heart to not smile at the sight. He's happy to say that the Soul from eight months ago and the Soul he watches in the arms of a smiling man are two different people, strictly according to his perception, of course, as Seonghwa himself is the only person at the cafe that Soul has chosen to open up to. What started from him being sincere in him having said that he'd really look forward to working with Soul during his one-on-one interview with his younger friend to him no longer feeling hopeful that he could befriend Soul all changed during the chance instance that Seonghwa complimented Soul's Gundam phone case during a shift they'd been working together one day. He supposes that it's his naturally motherly nature that makes him so fond of Soul and has him unable to resist the urge to look out for him, whether it be inside the cafe or outside of it, unable to help mentioning him from time to time even while in the presence of the seven men that are more blood brothers to him than mere friends.
He'd been prepared to resume his duties as cafe manager and leave Soul to catch up with his friend but Soul had other ideas, dragging the kindhearted man over to an empty table to make proper introductions.
"You've been taking such good care of Soul. I truly am grateful," the man known as Shotaro says, his handshake as friendly as his smile. "It's nice to finally meet you, Seonghwa."
He can't help feeling a bit shy, pleasantly surprised that he'd been mentioned enough by Soul for Shotaro to know that he's been looking out for him while at the cafe. One-sidedness isn't an easy thing for someone as softhearted as him to handle, which is why it's nice to have confirmation from a secondary source that he means something to Soul. Smiling, Seonghwa says, "I remember Soul saying you're far more handsome in person. I see he was right."
Shotaro covers his mouth as he laughs, flustered. He nudges Soul playfully. "This kid and his mouth."
