Loaks Pov

Me and my family were flying as exhaustion ran through our bodies. I looked back to where I once called home "Are we there yet" my youngest sister Tuk said no one responded and she took that as a no. Sighing in disappointment of not having yet landed at our potential new home.
A few more days of flying and we see a vast land of water and sand. Also a lot of lighter blue looking Navi's riding some unusual sea creatures.
As we landed a crowd formed around us everyone looking at us weirdly. Me and my family walked in a line while my dad Jake and my big brother Neteyam had their hands out to show they meant no harm. My sister Kiri was annoyed and rolled her eyes at the staring we had received. The crowd came to a stop when two boys that looked around my age walked around me and my family making fun of our appearances just then a two beautiful girls stopped them "Rotxo! Aonung!" The first one said in a warning tone.
The second one stayed quite. I looked at her and we made eye contact. With that she gives me a soft smile and a wave.
𝐵𝑒𝑎𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑓𝑢𝑙
I return the favor and just then a seconds later a big shadow from the water washes over us and landed back in. After looking at it for a second It was a Navi and he seemed to be the leader of the clan but I just went back to staring at the girl from before. Her (e/c) eyes, the way they glisten in the sunlight, the way the freckles on her skin shine, the way her lips complement her face. I didn't even know she noticed until we locked eyes again and my family started to walked forward. I already feel a connection towards her.
The girl who had told the boys to cease their teasing had led us to our new home on the island. She taps me on my shoulder looking at me sweetly. "Hi my names Tsireya what's your name" "Lo'ak." She stops in her stracks looking forward. "This is your new home" she announced. "After you get settled you can meet me or my mom to train. " And with that she walks out of our new home.

Walking toward the shore where Tsireya had called out to us. I take in my surroundings. The warm sand beneath my toes, the smell of the salty ocean, the squeaking of the water creatures. 𝐸𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔
Walking down to where everyone was at. Trudging through the water I get with the group.
3RD PERSON
Aonung turns around and then makes a throaty call. The sea creatures emerge- "These are ilu if you want to survive you have to ride" he says. "Neteyam you should try first" he says pointing at him. "Make the bond. Feel his heartbeat, his breathing" Aonung finishes. Following his instructions, without a doubt he manages to tame the ilu. Aonung looks at Loak, ushering him to try it out for him self. Sitting on the saddle and making the bond he exhales slowly and commands the ilu to move.... Except he didn't mean at a such a fast pace. Zoomming through the water the pace is too harsh for his grip and is forced to let go. Above the water the group of navi's reactions are priceless to Loaks performance.
Loaks pov

Bursting from under water while shaking me head from the previous events a wave of embarrassment washed over me. Tsireya directs everyones attention to a different activity. While their attention is on her my attention is on that particular girl. Looking back and forth between the group and her I decided that I would start up a convo. Trying to imitate the throaty call from Aonung and ilu emerges. 'Time to try again. ' Riding over to where the girl is. When the rock she was sitting on came into sight I slowly dismounted the ilu in hopes of not startling her. Taking her features was like a stress reliever. Her hair, her eyes, her lips, her skin. 𝐇𝐞𝐫. She was 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥.
