MUSICAL TRAUMA. ~ 🤍

~ Chapter 1- The red daffodil~

"... Sebastian?" I said seeing him looking at the ground... he wasn't making eye contact with me, just staring straight to the ground.

"You don't need me anymore, do you Silas?" everything felt foggy, my mind felt dizzy. What was happening? His face was melting off and kept repeating those words "You don't need me." "You don't need me." "YOU DONT NEED ME!"

I woke up in fear, sweating and suddenly feeling quite anxious. I sighed in relief glad it was all a dream and not actually real but, it bugged me. Do I still need him? I mean he's my brother but- Oh well, I shrugged it off and got up from my bed. I change out of my sleeping clothing and change into my outfit. I get out of my room fully dressed and- "Sir Silas!" A pink haired girl ran over to me, "Sir-" "Just Silas is fine Eita" I say and she hums and nods "Silas, here are your commissions for today." she handed me a list of things I had to do today, I sighed "Thank you miss Eita, you can go now." She nods and she runs in a flash.

"You know it's weird... she's only 16 years old and does well at her job I mean- not as well as I do!" Another voice I hear. "Hoshi, speaking of work. Shouldn't you be doing some right now?" I say jokingly, he grumbles "You too, Chair!" "'Chair?!' what do you mean Chair??" I say confused and Hoshi chuckles. "You like sitting on chair or whatever... so I call you chair! probably should be named Sir Chair." I glare at Hoshi and shove him out of my way "Go work, foxy." I heard him do a dramatic gasp, but he walked away.

My first commission was order food for... Sebastian. I sigh in disappointment and scratch out the first commission, I look at the second and continued on with my other commissions. A few hours later, I rest on a bench and relax there, and I hear footsteps run nearby me. "Silas? what are you doing? Don't you have commissions to finish?" My little sister Lileq asks. I shook my head and said "No, I just finished them all, I'm resting and quite tired..." I yawn and get up from the bench.

I walk around the garden with Lileq and chat with her for a while. We went to a Garden shop; I got daffodils and Lileq got only sunflower seeds. "Why did you get sunflower seeds?" I ask "I want to grow a sunflower in my room! If Mom lets me that is."  I smile and nod and move on. We head back to the castle, and Sebastian walks into the room and stares at the two "Where were you two? and Silas have you finished your commission's?" I nod and Lileq walks up to Sebastian "We went on a stroll and chatted for a while, after we went to the Garden Shop. I got sunflower seeds, and he got daffodils.

He hums and looks down at Lileq "Alright, you can go to your room Lileq." She runs to her room with her bag of sunflower seeds. Sebastian looks straight up at me "You should've told me sooner that you were going to the garden with Lileq, you two could've gotten into serious danger." I look away from him say "Were both fine, no one got hurt at all..." "There you go again with the 'I'm fine' excuses." He turns away and walks away from the room "You really need to keep watch of your surroundings; you'll get more bandages." He leaves the room leaving me alone.

I look down to the ground, then look at my bandages. Why am I so reckless? Im always messing up something or slipping up on anything? Will I ever be able to actually be able to be like him?..— "Sir Silas, are you okay?" Someone said, I look up to see Zak, he is Sebastian apprentice. Never had a actual conversation with him though, he had books in his hands tilting his head looking concerned "Im fine, thank you for your concern though." I say smiling, he nods and walks to Sebastian office. My smile fades, I head to my room and when I enter I see a small box on the bed.

"A box? What is this doing here?" I sit by the box and place it on my lap and open it, some candy was inside of the box with a letter from Dad.
'Hey kiddo! How have you've been lately? I know things been hard with your mother, shes a bit... extra. Anyways got you some sweets! Hope you like them. I know how you used to eat them when you were little :) Love you Silas' - Love Dad

I sit there reading the letter, smiling. I never get to speak to my dad mostly because of my mother but I know he cares for me more than 'Mom' does. I put down the letter next to my bed and eat the candys I was given. After I finished my eyes began to feel heavy, right when I laid my head on my pillow.

"Silas! Hey! Silas!" I hear.

I groan and get up and answer the door, "Yes?" I open the door to see Hoshi with Eita "Is it true a party is coming up soon? A ball?" Eita says with a sparkle in her eyes "Uhm... I don't know... wait who said? -" "I did." Sebastian said with a cold tone which turned our heads to him "When?" I ask he doesn't look at me "Next month. Mother will inform everyone about it tomorrow in the afternoon." he said. "Alright thanks for the answer I'll see you too tomorrow! byee!" Hoshi says waving, I wave him and Eita goodbye. When they left, I asked Sebastian "Why did Mother inform you but not me?" "You know exactly why she didn't." He walks away as he said coldly.

I glare at him and shut my door laying on my bed sighing. Great, a party... how fucking great. My mind is carried with angry thoughts, but it soon drifts away as my eyes began to become heavy and I drift into sleep.
