~Chapter 2 - Old friend~

Hoshi was guarding the kingdom, as per usual. With a blue haired man called Elis. He is also a guard. "Have you completed any of your commissions?" Elis asked the fox and Hoshi shook his head and Elis sighed "You really need to complete them, you'll get in trouble with Sir Sebastian or Sir Silas." Zephyr popped up and said "You do not wanna get in trouble with Sir Sebastian..." He said with a sweat drop reflecting back at a memory on when he got in trouble with him.

Elis and Hoshi chuckled , "Hey Elis!" A girl with pinkish and purplish hair appeared. "Hey kitty-cat!" The fox waved , and the girls ears dropped down "If you dont stop with that nickname." She glared at Hoshi , "Oh yeah? What are you gonna?— OW—" She pinched Hoshi cheek hard. "Woah! Wait!— Lilli lets calm down.." He pushed both of them away from each other. Lilli grumbled but shook it off "Anyways , I came here to look for someone." She said. "For who?" Zephyr asked.

"Sir Sebastian!" Zak knocked on the Princes door, "Yes , Zak?" He replied pausing on his work. "Your presence has been requested." "By who?" "If I recall.. her name is Lilli—" as he heard that name he got up from his chair and walked out of the room "I'll be back." He said 'Huh.. eager to meet the gambler?.." Zak wondered

As Sebastian headed to the entrance his eyes widened as he saw Lilli. "Hey Seb!" She waved running to him "Lilli , how— what are—.." he didn't know what to say. He was shocked to see his old childhood best friend?.. She embraced him in a hug which shook Sebastian , "Lilli.. I can't believe your actually here." He said still surprised. "I found my ways to find you" she said with a smug smile "Sebastian where are my— uh.." Lileq found Sebastian seeing him being hugged by some other girl she never saw before. Sebastian quickly turned his head around seeing Lileq. Lilli quickly stopped hugging him when she realized what she was doing. "Oh , Lileq.. sorry , this young lady here is a old friend of mine." Sebastian said hiding his embarrassment from showing.

"Im Lilli , I own that casino down at the corner!" Lileq knew Lilli from somewhere but couldn't point her finger at where. "I feel like I know you somewhere.. were you ever in a collab with a model before?" She asked wondering "Uhm.. with Miss Tilix.. but only her. Why?" "Thats where I know you from!" Sebastian was kinda in the corner confused , but glad that they were getting along.

Elis was fighting with some monsters in the wild , minding his own business. After he was finished with them he felt a presence person in the area. He looked around and saw a figure. He positioned himself in a fighting position with his sword in his hands. "Relax Elis! Its your buddy!" Hoshi said as he was walking closer to him , Elis sighed in relief and gave him a smile "Greetings Hoshi , how are you?" He asked lowering his sword. "I've been.. busy.." He said rubbing his neck looking away. Elis sighed "You're bored not 'busy'." He chuckled and Hoshi grumbled "Im a very busy person Elis , you have no idea!—" "Busy making origami's?" He joked , Hoshi jokingly hit his shoulder as Elis laughed at him

"What have you been up to?" Hoshi asked him "I've been fighting monsters. You know.. protecting our home." He replied "As always.. have you even finished your commissions?" "Of course , speaking of that.. you never completed yours did you?" "Only 2.." Elis face palmed his head "Go finish them.. General Ember will scowl at you.. Better yet Sir Sebastian" he said putting his hands on his hips. "Like in a hour.. I'll do them." He said Elis groaned in annoyance and hears chatter. He looks over to see citizens chatting.. no more like.. "Hey its the Sir Chair!" Hoshi said as he saw Silas out in the garden, "You've meet Sir Silas?" Elis says confused and Hoshi nodded "I use to take care of the fella, come on I'll introduce y'all!" He dragged Elis to the garden "Hey! Silas!" Silas turned his head and gave Hoshi a smile and a wave "Hey, Hoshi! Who's this?" Hoshi brought Elis next to him "This is my dear friend, Elis." Hoshi said "Greetings Sir Silas, Im Elis Bushida. I also work along besides Hoshi." He smiled and Silas smiled and chuckled awkwardly "You dont need to be so formal, Im fine with just Silas.. unless in front of my family thats when you call me Sir Silas." He said as he rubbed his neck

"Silas is quite awkward when it comes to being so formal. He sometimes says something else instead!" Hoshi laughs and Silas glared at him hitting him playfully and Elis chuckled at the two "Hoshi, you can't even do one single task you cant talk." Elis chuckled and Hoshi playfully hit Elis. "So not nice!" He said as he crossed his arms and Silas laughed at Hoshi and so did Elis. The three hung around the garden enjoying the flowers as Hoshi chatted with others who were there. Silas was looking at a particular flower he loved, a daffodil. It reminded him of what happened yesterday with Sebastian. "Their beautiful aren't they?" Elis said snapping Silas out of his thoughts "Hm? Oh- yes they are! Their actually my favorite flower." Silas said smiling awkwardly as he was deep into his thoughts "I find them pretty.." Silas said admiring the flowers "They really are pretty, they symbolize 'new beginnings' and 'rebirth' sense their the first flowers to bloom in winter. I should know sense I did do gardening back then.." Elis said and Silas looked over at Elis "Whats your favorite flower?" Silas asked and Elis smiled and said "I think snap dragons are a unique flower, they represent 'strength' and 'grace'. They were even used as a way to ward off evil." Elis said, they chatted a few more minutes about flowers and plants until Hoshi came in.

"Look.. I get how much yall love to chat about flowers but we have to go now.. Elis come on!" Hoshi says as he runs, Elis sighs and said "Well I must leave now, it was nice seeing you." He said and Silas smiled back "I enjoyed our chat Elis, and it was nice seeing you too." Silas got up and shook Elis hand "I'll be leaving now. Bye!" He said as he waved Silas goodbye and started walking away. Silas waved back to him and said his goodbye before something hit him. He wanted to chat with him more, wanted to talk to him more about flowers.

"Hey Elis?" He turned his head to Silas and let out a "Hm?" "When do you usually get your break times or free times on?" Silas said and Elis thought "For breaks I go at 2:30.. free days.. on the weekends." "Can we see each other on the weekends or break times maybe?" Silas asked and Elis nodded "Sure, I dont mind. See you soon!" Elis waved goodbye and thats when they left Silas in the Garden by himself.

As Silas left the garden and headed to the Kingdom he heard distant laughter, he checked the office room and saw Sebastian and Lilli chatting and laughing. He opened the door which made a creek. They both turned their head to the door "Knock next time." Sebastian said coldly and Lilli gave a smile to Silas "Silas! There you are, I wondered where you were." Lilli said getting up from her chair and shook his hand "Hello, Lilli. Long time no see." He said smiling, Sebastian cleared his throat and Lilli turned back at him "Silas what did you need?" He said crossing his arms as he got up "I just heard chatter in the room. I dont need anything." Silas said looking away from his brother. Sebastian hummed and awkward silence with between the three, Lilli knew something was wrong between them. "I should get going now.. Tilix might need my help with something. I'll chat you guys tomorrow or another time when you guys are free." Lilli said breaking the silence. Sebastian looked at Lilli with a bit of a frown on his face but he nodded "Okay.. I'll come over to the Casino maybe? On my break." Sebastian said and Lilli nodded "Alright, see you Sebastian and Silas." She left the room and left the kingdom, as she closed the door Sebastian glared at Silas

"You disrupted us and our conversation." Sebastian said and Silas sighed "Oh come on.. you know she wasn't gonna stay forever anyways.." He said annoyed "I haven't seen her in years." Sebastian said as he walked back to his desk, he saw Silas leaving the office and Sebastian just stayed all night working in his office.

\\A/N sorry I havent posted a chapter in a while ☹️☹️ I was caught up in alot of other things but now that its summer I may write more? Also I plan on making a modern/college AU So😋 also new ocs are here now in this thingy so woo, 3 more in the next chapter so see u when I see u🤍
