One night, Meatha want to sat outside of the house to moon viewing. It was a full moon. The night sky is clear and the air blows gently between every strand of her hair. She sat on the ground just by the end of her island near the lake. Soaking her feet in the water.

Suddenly, everything goes quiet. She looks around and see nothing change except the quietness. A few minutes later, she saw the fog getting thicker. So, she decided to get back in the house, before she can take her first step toward the house, she was pulled by something into the water. She thought she was going to drown but soon realized she can breathe just fine.

Even though she can't move her body while in the water as if she was hold by something, she can still can breathe, see and hear everything that happened around her, or rather, above her. She saw the fog turn into a human shape but not completely, they were just like a ghost, dancing, laughing happily and playing around in joy. The scene before her doesn't make her scare but she was so attracted to it that she couldn't take her eyes off them even for a second.

She called it as . From the beginning until it ends, it almost 2 hours before the event end. The end of the event is a bit unexpected because its end abruptly just like a film has been cut directly by a scissor. As if everything was just a play that shown by a video projector.

The moment she realizes the event was ended; she was already inside her house by her front door. The event doesn't appear again not until the next full moon came.

Every full moon she gets out from her house late at night to witnessing the dance. At the fourth time she watched the spirits dance, she found one spirit looks like her late grandmother but looks like she was 40 years old younger. She tried to called her and talk to her but she afraid. She saw her late grandmother spirits came to her and smile, she seems to saying something but Meatha heard nothing.

A few months later, the ninth time she went to see the soul dancing, the six time she meets her grandmother spirits, she finally could listen to what her grandmother trying to say.

"Dear Meatha, you finally could listen. I was just saying, how happy I am able to see you again even after my death. I wish I had meet you when I was alive but I do still feel glad to how we meet now." Then, her grandmother spirits ask her to join her dancing with her to officially celebrate their long-awaited meeting. They talk a lot that night.

Meatha again wake up from her night-viewing inside her house. The more she goes to the event, the more in she awakes. At first, she was just by the front door, now she is in her bedroom, upstairs.

The twelve months, the twelve Soul Dance Event, the ninth night she meets her late grandmother soul, that night seems a bit eerie. Everyone laughs and dancing but they also cried. The more she listens, the cried sound turn into howling. She turns to her grandmother and saw she was crying while laughing too. She asks what is going on.

"Dear Child, foolish child. Why did you answer the called of the spirit while you don't even understand what is going on? I am not your Granma. I'm just the soul of the wood trying to lure you in to take your place at the side of the living. Now you are mine."

Meatha force herself to wake up and when she did awake, she's realized she is lying on her bed. She sat up, checks her body and smile. "Everything seems alright".
