Chapter 20

Lucia and Eliana both started their journey to find Lucifer. Lucia never thought that Eliana would help her in her hard times. She has two sisters but they never talk to her.

"Lucia, we should reach the hill where you last time saw him," Eliana said to Lucia and she nodded.

"This is the place where I last time saw her. We were settled here."

Eliana put her hand on Lucia's shoulder and smiled at her. "don't worry Lucia, we will find him" and hugged her.

They examined the whole place but didn't find Lucifer.

After finding him for a long time, they got tired and decided to take a rest.

Standing on the top of the hill covered by thick dense forest, surrounded by pitch-black night, no trace of the moon in the sky, Eliana didn't find it a good option to stay at that place.

She took Lucia with her and went to the forest. Later, they found a small hut in the middle of the forest.

"I never thought someone would like to live in this nature surrounded by death" Lucia laughed and decided to stay here for a night.

They knocked on the door but no one responded. Eliana again attempted to knock but someone unlocked the door and stood in front of them.

An old woman opened the door and was shocked to see two young ladies and a horse with them roaming in the middle of the night.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" She asked in her trembling voice.

"A..hi, we came from another kingdom and we are here to find herbs but we got lost and don't have any place to stay. Do you mind if you could let us stay here for tonight?" Eliana asked in her soft voice.

She saw a necklace on Lucia's neck, she smiled and gave them a place to stay. Lucia entered the but and concluded that she lived there alone.

They both settled on the bed after taking a bath. That old woman gave them hot drinks on a cold night. This night was truly colder than usual.

"Amma, do you live alone here?" Her excitement to know the truth, in her stomach made her mind question her.

She smiled and sat on the chair "I came here when I was young and now I'm 98 years old." "98?" Lucia bounced.

"What happened to you which made you live in this dark place?" Eliana asked.

"It's a long story," she said and stood up to go to sleep. Lucia requested her to tell them about her and she agreed.
She told them about life's journey which was worthwhile to Lucia.

"We were happy in our kingdom but one day I will never forget. The day which changes our lives."

"Which kingdom and what happened?" Lucia asked.

"Witch World," she said and smiled. Lucia and Eliana looked at each other in shock.

"What happened that day?"

"The day when Princess Sophelia lost her crown. You'll not understand, have a good sleep young ladies" She got up and reached the door.

"When Prince Damon's and Princess Sophelia's relationship was not hidden anymore, what happened after that?_ Lucia raised a question as she thought that the old woman stopped and turned to look at her.

"How do you know?" she asked.

"I am her soon-to-be daughter-in-law."

"What? But she's not here and she had a son?"

Lucia knew that she was a witch and she was connected to Sophelia. So she told her about Lucifer and her reason for roaming at night.

"That night when her crown was taken, she was cast out from her kingdom. When Demon came to know about this, he ran from his kingdom to protect Sophelia. She was pregnant with Lucifer. Damon would burn the whole world if someone would touch her. Sophelia came here like you do Lucia. I was with her. I was her maid from her birth. She got married to the king to protect her child. I ended up here because the door to our world got locked. There was no way back. After years of giving birth, Damon came and took Sophelia with him."

"Where are they now and how can I find Lucifer?"

"I don't know where they are but the necklace you have will help you find them."

She went to sleep before looking at Lucia. Lucia was unable to sleep she got up and went outside. What she saw outside made her mouth open and her eyes wide. The only word that came out of her mouth was "Lucifer"
