Kim Taehyung sat in the boardroom meeting where he should have been paying attention since it regarded the trip he was going to take. If everything goes well then he will be given a promotion and his own office on the top floor. Along with the other executives.

He is dating the C.E.O.'s daughter Hye-kyo and she introduced him to her brother Seojoon who is running the meeting. They have become friends and Seojoon has been rooting for him to move up in the business since he expects him to be his brother-in-law someday.

But Taehyung has been just going through the motions. He only hooked up with Hye-kyo because he was in one of his drunk episodes where he drinks to forget. As if he could ever forget.

He doesn't really care about his current job. Or for that matter, his current life. He experienced his greatest love and he doesn't think he will ever get over it. He also experienced his greatest heartbreak. And he's still trying to get over it. But he's always there in his mind. Always.

He suddenly hears clapping and the men start to stand. Seojoon then whispers to his ear, "You did it. You have everyone's approval for your proposal. I have no doubt that when you return from your trip, you will be getting promoted."

Taehyung gives him a half smile and shakes everyone's hands as they walk out of the room.

As Seojoon and Taehyung walk out, Seojoon tells him, "Ok, your assistant will have your itinerary ready for you along with your plane tickets. Use the company card for whatever you need. Now, when you meet the new investors. You will most likely have to have a meal with them at a strip joint. That's where they prefer to talk business for some reason. As long as they sign then who are we to judge, right?"

They walk towards the assistants desk and she hands him everything. He already has his briefcase and coat with him so Seojoon walks him to the elevator that leads him to the lobby and joins him.

When they get out Seojoon stops him and says, "I know you're nervous but I have complete faith in you. Ok."

Tae nods and says, "Thanks."

He turns to walk out and Seojoon yells, "If you happen to get a lap dance or whatever from the strippers, don't let my sister know! She'll blame me and my father will be pissed."

Tae replies, "I won't do anything. Don't worry."

He then checks his watch and realizes he'd better hurry if he's going to meet his girlfriend for lunch before his flight.

He takes a cab to the popular restaurant where he's meeting her. And as he climbs out he bumps into someone who is running to get his cab.

The guy turns to apologize to him and Tae mumbles "Don't worry about it."

Then the guy says, "Tae? Is that you?"

Taehyung looks at him and recognizes him as his old friend Jungkook. He immediately smiles and they hug.

"Jungkook-ah! Wow, what a surprise seeing you here. How have you been?"

"I should ask you the same thing. What happened to you? You just disappeared on us.. we were so worried. Are you ok now?"

"Oh.. yeah. Um.. you know..."

Beep-beep!

"Come on man! Move your car!" A man yells because the cab is blocking the street.

Jungkook tells the man, "Yeah hold on!"

Then turns to Tae and tells him, "Do you have time for a quick drink?"

"I can't right now. I'm meeting someone for lunch and then I have to catch a flight. I will be gone all week."

Jungkook frowns and tells him, "Look, here's my card. Give me a call so we can catch up and you can explain where you've been the past three years. I gotta go."
