Taehyung is walking fast towards the check-in at the airport. His girlfriend is running behind trying to keep up. Before he goes to the counter he stops to tell her, "Let's just say goodbye right here ok.""What? No.. I want to see your plane take off."
"I would prefer to wait alone. I'm already pretty nervous about the meeting. I don't want to add to my worries if I'm just thinking about you out here bored to death. You know how these things are. Please.. just go and I'll call you once I land. Though it will be hours from now."
She frowns and pulls onto the lapels of his coat and gives him a peck. "Well.. ok. I guess I understand. Though you really shouldn't worry too much. You're going to be amazing. I will go meet my friend. She called earlier and wanted to go shopping. Please don't forget to call me."
"I won't. Drive safely."
She turns to leave and he keeps his eyes on her, making sure she actually leaves. Once he sees her run across the parking lot from where he is he then goes towards the counter.
"Excuse me, but can I change my ticket to a much later flight to Chicago?"
The woman at the counter smiles and helps him exchange his ticket.
A few minutes later he is out the door of the airport and hailing a cab. On the drive to the townhouse he starts to panic. He's changing all his plans on the chance to see his true love. What if he only imagined him? And he's ruining his chances for a secure future.
When the cab stops at the townhouse, he sees that it's 4 apartments in the building. Two on one floor and two on the second floor. He walks up the steps and an old man walks out just as he was going in. The old man looks at him suspiciously as he blocks the door.
"Do you have permission to be here?"
Tae pulls out the key and shows it to him. "My cousin is still working and told me to just wait for him in his apartment until he gets home. I just caught a cab from the airport and I am really exhausted."
The old man changes his stance and holds the door open for him and says, "I see. Well, have a good rest."
Tae nervously enters and continues walking up to the second floor. He can see the door as he goes up and he stops right in front. He takes a few deep breaths before knocking.
He just needs to know..
He knocks several more times and nobody answers. He then takes a quick look around before using the key. He hears the door click and he slowly walks in.
He calls out, "Jin-ah! Are you here?"
He continues to make his way from room to room and finds it empty. He looks around and finds it sparsely decorated. It's like a model display home with no personal effects anywhere.
He goes to sit on the bed and is frustrated. He clenches his eyes closed, disappointed that he still doesn't get any answers.
He falls back onto the bed and closes his eyes. He gets flashbacks of the first time he saw his beloved.

Taehyung is working happily at a camera repair shop. He likes his flexible hours that allow him to focus on his blooming career as a photographer.
He is shooting the breeze with a coworker when he hears another coworker cussing up a storm nearby.
He walks over to the older woman and finds her shaking a video camera that is plugged into the TV.
"Stupid camera! Why won't you work?! You son of a bitch!"
Tae chuckles cause she's normally quiet and timid.
