Cuddles

Narrator POV

It was the middle of April and it was raining all day. Light rain in the morning, heavy during lunch, but by 5 pm it was thunder and lightning. You dislike storms. Your quirk and loud noises don't exactly match. Normally you wear ear plugs to stop any big sounds from coming through your ears but thunder always found a way. No one else knew this of course. All 1-A students were relaxing in the common room but you. You were in your room, crying, ears bleeding.

Sero POV

I looked around. "19 people..." I muttered to myself.

"What?" Kirishima asked.

"There are only 19 people here. Where Y/N?" I turn to ask. He and Kaminari start looking around.

"Maybe in her room?" Kaminari said.

"I'll check." I get up walking to the third floor. I reach her door and the light is on underneath the door. Knock knock knock "Y/N? You in there?"

Y/N POV

I heard a knock on the door which made things even worse. I wince at the pain. "Y/N? You in there?" Sero's voice. I get up slowly going to the door, wiping my tears. I open it slightly for him to only see my face.

"Yeah?" I say lightly, trying not to cry.

"Are you ok? Everyone is in the common room except for you. We were going to make some popcorn and watch a Disney movie." He says giggling a little.

"I'm fine. Just tired. Watch it without me." I say defensively.

Sero POV

"I'm fine. Just tired. Watch it without me." She says. I notice something on her cheek. Blood.

"Y/N... what's wrong?" I say sternly.

"Nothing is wrong... just go away." She tried slamming the door. I put my foot in the way. I forced the door open. Blood was streaming from her ears.

"Why didn't you tell me?!" I yell a little. She winces. I forgot about her quirk. I shut up quickly as tears roll down her face. "I'm sorry for yelling at you. Please... let me help." I put my hands on her shoulders lightly. She doesn't say anything and just walks into her room and sits on her bed. I walk in and kneel by her bed. I touch her chin lightly and move it back and forth. Her earplugs are completely soaked with blood and it was pouring out onto her face. She had dry tears on her face. "I'll be right back ok?" I say lightly. She nods. I walk out quietly and shut the door behind me. I run out to the common room telling Kirishima that I won't be watching the movie. Before he gets a chance to ask why I run to the storage room. Extra towels are there. I grab a small one and a small bucket. I go to the kitchen with the bucket and put a little bit of warm water into it. I pick it up carefully as all my classmate's eyes were on me. I didn't care. I went to Momo. "Can you make some earbuds, please? Y/N is having trouble" I say.

"Oh of course. What's wrong?" She asks, creating them in the palm of her hand.

"She doesn't want me to say. Oh, and if it's not too much trouble could you also make her some tea? Just send Kirishima to give it to us please." I say with a little bit of urgency.

"Ok. Kirishima come here!" He gets off the couch and goes to help Momo. I arrive at Y/N's door opening it slowly. I look at her. She has her head buried in her knees. I set the bucket down gently next to her and dip a corner of my towel in it. I motion my hands to her ears asking her to remove them. She shakes her head. I sigh, looking around for tweezers. She has some on her desk. I grab them and sit on her bed. I turn her ear towards me, carefully placing the tweezers on the plug and pulling it out. She flinches. Blood comes out. I do the other one next and it's the same thing. I throw those out. I grab the towel and lightly wipe her face. Blood stains, tears stains, all of it. I hand her the new ones and she puts them in quickly. I hear a knock on the door. I open it slightly and Kirishima is standing with two cups of tea. I bow lightly, taking each cup into a hand, and shut the door quietly. I hand Y/N her cup. She sips slowly, letting the heat calm her. I sip mine too. I take out my phone and put some music on the lowest level. I sit down on the floor next to her bed. She lays down in her bed and tries to fall asleep. A few minutes later I feel a tap on my shoulder. I look over and she is motioning me towards her bed, patting a spot next to her. I get up and sit in bed with her. To my surprise she wants me to lay down. I do so and she nuzzles into my chest. I'm stunned but my body moves, hugging her closer and playing with her hair. She falls asleep quickly. I am drifting off to sleep until I hear my phone buzz. Kaminari texted me. It was a photo of us. I look out the window and see them laughing. I tell them to shoo and they do. I put my phone on silent and fall asleep cuddling with those whom I love. If only I dared to tell her. I would if i thought she feels the same way about me as I feel about her.
