Sirius Black | Oneshots | fluff

The Argument

I was In detention, I made the terrible decision to talk back to my potions professor after he was shouting at me over me not completing my homework assignment. I fully meant to, and I started it, but then Lilly came into my dorm and asked me to go to hogsmead with her and how was I expected to say no to shopping over homework. My professor was going on and on about how my behavior was unacceptable and if I want to get anywhere in this world I have to actually do my homework so I spoke up and defended myself. I said that I didn't think it was that big a deal, it was only one assignment and that I'd have all my next ones done, well he didn't take that well and gave me detention for the afternoon. The marauders aren't in my potions class and I didn't have the time to tell them I had detention as it was straight after class.
I say the password and enter the dorm, it's late evening now so most people have scampered off to their dorms, I intend on having the same plans but I see Sirius.

"Hey Siri"
"Where the hell have you been?" He whipped his head around at me and basically spat the words.
"At detention" I continued to explain my whole argument I had with my potions professor but Sirius still seems angry at me.
"What you couldn't have told me"
"I didn't have time, it was right after my classes"
"You could've told one of us in hallways, or waited till I got out of class"
"Sirius I'm sorry I thought you would have just came to the conclusion" I pleaded with him, I was getting a bit desperate now, I was tired and he wasn't calming down.
"You can be so fucking inconsiderate"
"Sirius I'm tired, I'm going to bed we'll talk about it in the morning" I pick up my blazer which I had thrown across the back of the couch and March away and up the stairs ignoring his shouts of disagreement.
"We won't talk about it in the morning we'll talk about it now!" He shouted after me but I was already up the stairs and into my dorm.
I threw my books and blazer on the floor and haphazardly got into my pyjamas careful not to wake my dorm-mates. I pulled back the covers and got into bed soon enough I fell into a restless sleep.
It's morning now and I'm trudging down the stairs careful of the invisible steps down to the hall for breakfast I sit down next to lilly who was on the end so I don't have to be next to the other Mauraders who no doubt know of me and Sirius' argument last night. I small talk with Lilly for a bit avoiding all contact with Sirius before heading back to my dorm. I'm in the secluded corridors when I feel someone grasp my wrist. I whip around to see Sirius, he looks stressed out.
"Yes?" I question him with a raised eyebrow
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have shouted at you last night, it wasn't your fault. You probably could have come to tell me after class but I get why you didn't"
"It's okay, I know I could have and I probably should have, I just wasn't think of it at the time, I'm sorry too."
He grabbed my waist with one hand, the other still grasping my wrist before he pulled me towards him, He looked into my eyes in a way that gave me butterflies before moving his hand from my wrist to my jaw and neck. He gently moved in and tilted his head before our lips softly met. He was still his usual desperate and rough self with the kiss but it was still gentler like he was savouring it more.
