I woke up all of a sudden with the worst cramps ever. It felt like a thousand knives being stabbed into my belly. Johnny was fast asleep, the weight of his arm pressing down on my stomach. That only made it worse.

Johnny's POV
I woke up in the middle of the night which was unusual for me, as I normally slept through. As I noticed lying in bed by myself I got confused and looked around the room. Where was Mia?

"Oh sweetie, I hate to see you like this. Why didn't you wake me up?" I asked worried. "I didn't think it would get this bad..ow-" She clutched her lower belly. "I just wanted to get myself some tea in the kitchen instead of taking a painkiller. I always feel sick after taking them and I don't want to be nauseous on top of all this pain." She continued quietly. "But there just has to be something that will help you. Let's see what they say online...My god are your shoulders tense!" I realised stroking her back.
Mia's POV
Johnny stroking my back already helped a bit but the cramps just wouldn't get better. The only thing I could do was focus on my breathing and listen to Johnny reading out tips.
"Let's see what they're saying online...'Breathe away your pain', already doing this, 'hot tea', 'work out', 'hot bath'...we basically need to get you to relax your muscles down there, baby. The tension is causing you all this pain." I nodded still focussing on my breathing, feeling exhausted at this point, but not being able to fall asleep. Johnny was gently stroking my back the whole time while he kept reading out tips.
