☆toh☆ wittebane story: Evelyn's pov

the beginning

Evelyn was a bright girl, loud and not afraid to speak the truth she also was in love with a human, and died because of him too. But how did it happen?

"OK BYE MOM IM GOING OUT THE PORTAL" Evelyn said as fast as she could while running out the back door so her mom wouldnt tell her to stay home.
Evelyn loved the portal, not the human world but the portal-she was very interested in how it worked

She slowly walked into the portal-she felt her fingertips swirl and the swirl sensation slowly consumed her body until her body felt like it was spinning
But not in a way that would make you dizzy in a calming way like a whirlpool but slower and calmer and then it stopped

she opened her eyes and the first thing she saw was a stack of mushrooms on a tree, she ran right over but her run was horizontal because she was still dizzy from the portal and she fell right into a Bush making more noise than she had liked, she moved forward and pushed the Bush behind her and then brushed herself off.

Still on the ground she looked up at stared at the boy who was red from embarrassment she noticed his bright blonde hair that looked like the colour of human sand
That was in a Ponytail with only one strand sticking out at the front and his ocean blue eyes that where the colour of the wide sky- she found them memorising and she couldn't stop looking.

She blinked, no longer looking at his eyes she hissed "..can I help you?"
Wanting to go back and get the mushrooms "are you a traveller?" Asked the blue eyed boy "no" she said fast trying to get over this conversation.

She stood up fully and looked back at the mushrooms and then looks back at the blue eyed boy and looks down to see another boy with brown hair and blue eyes, she noticed the brown haired boy wasnt nearly as butiful as the blond haired guy, which is why she cant think of nice things so say about him like she did with the blond boy.

"I'm busy so if you don't mind, shoo" she joked at the boys but was looking into the blonde boys eyes and noticed he looked surprised "uhm what are you doing here?" He asked, she could tell he was trying to change the subject, she could also tell he was looking away from her now "why do you ask?" she answered and stepped forward now only inches away from the blonde boy.

She notices the brown haired boy hiding behind the blond boy it's almost like they are brothers. She notices the brown haired boy looking at the dager in her left hand. "I've never seen a person with yellow eyes before" said the small boy with brown hair "wait are you a witch!?" He asked with fear and walked backwards "fine I'm a witch now will ya buzz off" she said impatiently "A WITCH" the small boy screamed "I WILL HUNT YOU" He screamed again "CALEB PROTECT ME" "Caleb" she thought what a nice name.

She pulled down her hood and revealed her pointy ears and caleb looked in awe while the brown haired boy looked in disgust and fear "WE ARE WITCH HUNTERS" said the brown hair boy "witch hunters? Well it's an honor" she joked. Caleb stared, no words just a look of love on his face, his face red "you can do magic?" He asked after several moments of silence "of course I can"
And then Evelyn held out her hand and a flame appeared.

The small boy backed away from the flame but Caleb stood there. "That's amazing... where do you come from?" He asked hoping he'd get some sort of a normal answer. "Why don't I show ya?"
She said dangling the key that is around her neck. It was a brown key with an eye on it like a owl

"CALEB!" The small brown boy who Evelyn still doesn't know the name off says "You will NOT go with a witch!" He insisted while grabing Calebs arm.

"What is your name?" Caleb asked "Evelyn. Evelyn Cawthorne!" She said with a look of pride and held out her hand and shook Caleb

"Claw-thorne?" Caleb said while giggling "Yep! And yours is Caleb?" She replied
While looking at his bright hair "Caleb wittebane" he said back Evelyn smiled "c'mon let me show you real magic"

Evelyn grabbed Calebs hand and ran up to the door-she looked back and noticed that his face was as red as a tomato

"But what about my brother?" Caleb stuttered. Evelyn didn't hear and opened the portal door and ran in draging Caleb in too.
