ꪔ̤̮ TODAY WAS YOUR FIRST DAY OF CLASSES, AND YOU HAD NO IDEA WHAT TO EXPECT. You knew it would be similar to high school, but then again, this was college. You were stepping into adulthood, no teachers were pestering you about late assignments — either did it or you didn't. No walking in lines to go to class, you were fully on your own, and responsible for yourself.
The annoying sound of your alarm going off rang in your ear, causing you to groan and turn over with your pillow over your ear, trying to drown out the sound. After a few minutes of laying around and regretting choosing early morning classes so your whole day wouldn't be taken up, you shut off your alarm and rolled out of bed to start your routine.

You threw on the first thing you could find which was a white tee and a gray sweatsuit, then began refreshing the style you had yesterday. Once you finished, you looked at the time which read 7:10. Shit, Ima be late I gotta go. Grabbing your bag and keys, you knocked on Rue's door to see if she was ready.
"Finally, I've been ready for 20 minutes waiting for you! Can we get Starbucks on the way?" She jumped off her bed and grabbed her backpack, walking past you to the door.
"Wha-" you turned to Rue in disbelief. Usually, she was never a morning person, so when you found out she signed up for morning classes. "Yeah let's go. Damn, I wish Yanna signed up for morning classes too not gonna lie, but at least we'll all be free tonight."
"Me too, I think her classes start at eleven-thirty, and end at four-twenty. Not too bad, but too late for me chile."
"Mhmm. Ooo we should get going if we're gonna have time to stop by Starbucks." The two of you walked out of your apartment and made your way to the elevator to leave your building. Luckily, you guys were able to find an apartment that was close to your school, and near a shopping center.
