Stubborn and Alone (Henrik x Dr.iplier)

Prompt: Henrik's pregnant but is too stubborn to stay home as he would rather work. Goes into labour while Edward is busy in the hospital.

"Henrik come on we can still go home." The iplier doctor was sweating more than his pregnant lover.

Henrik is approximately days on his due. Heavily pregnant with the iplier's baby but he was too stubborn to stay home while he work. So he tagged along but Edward wasn't happy with it.

Now arguing in their office in the hospital they work in as the german was too stubborn to stay and rest like Edward wanted.

Henrik just rolled his eyes and walked around their office. Not wanting to sit down. "I don't do anything back home! Let me vork vith you!" He groaned following what he said as he rubbed his swollen belly.

Just proving the other doctor's right. "But you're pregnant! I can't have you working and doing surgery around if you're gonna be due. It's dangerous!"

The stubborn german rolled his eyes "Oh please...I am perfectly capable still! People are dying edvard-"

"And I'LL take care of it!" Edward snapped. Surprisingly shutting him up. "Please...I can't have you stressing over this..."

Henrik sighed finally gave in. As much as he desperately wanted to work. He didn't wanted to put their child in harm by him being stressed so much.

"Vell...Lucky you, the boss didn't approve of me vorking anyway."

Edward sighed in relief going over to his lover knowing he feels bad for not being able to help with work.

"It's for the better...I can't have you and our baby hurt. Understand?" Cupping his hand on the german's face. He just sighed making Edward frowned from not getting an answer.

"You do understand, right? Mein leibing?"

Henrik perked up at the german nickname. He pronounced it wrong, definetly but Henrik couldn't help but smile knowing he's trying. The american is just sweet like that.

His heart welled as he leaned on his hand. Lifting up his own to meet with his lover's on his face.

"Fine... No surgery vork for me... But atleast let me do papervork." Henrik still tried. Edward pecked his lips as he hummed for a moment. Thinking.

He can't stop him either. He's a workaholic and not even being pregnant can stop him.

"Fine...Just paperwork okay? And if you get tired stop immidiately and rest. And if you feel something call me okay?"

Henrik giggled at his worried husband. "Of course-" Henrik stopped as he gasped. Making the other male face fell.

"W-What? What happend? You fee something? Is the baby?-"

Henrik just grabbed his lover's hand on his face then moved it down to his stomach as he smiled softly.

"They're just kicking..."

Edward's face soften. Sighing in relief and smiled feeling bumps came off his husband's mid section.

Feeing their kid is real active.

But Henrik groaned soon letting go of his husband's hand to arch his back. "Scheiße...Ohh they kicked on my bladder."

He cursed under his breathe now worrying his American husband again. But before he could speak someone knocked on their room.
