Who am i?

Chapter 1

Beethoven moonlight sonata 3rd  movement filled the renaissance styled ballroom as  beautiful masked couples of all different races and ages danced to together in sync. Their attention though was not focused on the complex but beautiful dance nor their equally beautiful partner but a girl who danced with 3 boys and one girl. The girl being mentioned wore a ivory dress with sleeves that reached her palms their was a big bow at the top of the bodice with a ruby at the centre. She had long hair but like her partners the rest of her features were intangible too the girl that was watching the scene. The maiden turned around to face her and everyone copied her their facial features gone but the girl pointed at her and as she did a loud beep came out of her non-existing mouth.

BEEP BEEP BEEP! "Oh come on it was just getting to the good part" the white blonde hair girl moaned as she slammed the off button of her clock. The girl dragged her self out of bed to be met with the smiling face of a petite woman with a rainbow nixie cut. "Someones early today" the woman spoke her voice to loud for the time of day "hi auntie Claire" the girl replied as she kissed her aunt on the cheek. "You excited for school today?" Claire asked as she placed a bowl of oatmeal in front of her her niece "unless i slept until the last day of school instead of 6 hours no" said the girl before she inhaled her. "Rhode your best friend who you haven't seen in 2 months is coming back aren't you excited!" Her aunt asked, it would be exciting for most people but when your friend was Kiera smith a girl who would go back and forth between her parents that lived in completely different states it was an average Monday.

"Noaw fhh awnytwing  thezze taw monvs wivouw tfe bwimbo ware hethan" Rhode said causing her aunt to hit her on the head with a spoon. "Chew before you speak how many times have I said that" the woman sighed causing her niece to roll her eyes "sorry and as I said before no if anything these two months have been heaven".

A buzzing sound was heard throughout the house indicating somebody was outside. "Speak of the devil" said Claire "I guess it's time to go" the blonde sighed as if it was the worst thing imaginable which to her it was.
When the girl opened the door she was engulfed in a hug from a average sized girl with neck length blonde hair and a tan complexion caused from spending most of her time in the sun. "Rhode I missed you soo much!" The girl squealed so loud it was a miracle every window in a fifty mile radius didn't shatter into thousands of tiny pieces. "I kinda missed you too cotton candy" the girl mumbled . Cotton candy it was a nickname given Keira because of her sweet personality and love of fluffy things while some might've taken it as an insult she took it as compliment because Rhode loved sweets. "Oh my God did Rhode Costa say she missed me!" The petite girl dramatically gasped putting her hand on heart and leaning backwards "hey I said kinda!" Rhode said her ears a bright red.

'Why do I always dream of that scene? am I that dumb that I can't think of anything else? like flying tacos or unicorns why is it always a masquerade ball not that I'm complaining I like masquerade balls but can't my brain just mix it up every once in a while?' Rhode thought.

"Miss Costa!" Yelled an elderly woman with grey hair held in a tight bun her voice was so loud it snapped her out of her train thought "yes mrs brackster?" The girl in question said stumbling to put herself together as her peers laughed at her being caught. "We're you listening to what I just said?" Spoke the woman anger evident in her voice "of course i did" Rhode lied "than would you like to show us" the bi- I mean teacher said with a smirk. "O o of course" Rhode stuttered with a tight smile she was in deep shit if she got this wrong. Rhode had never been good at science at least she thinks she hasn't but that didn't matter. If she got this wrong she will get another detention for not paying attention again and will be expelled which. She did not want, while she didn't know what she wanted in life she did know she wanted to graduate high school.
