"Wha... how did you do that and what do you mean I'm adopted!" Yelled the girl who had thousands of more questions running through her head. "I'll take that as a no" sighed the headmaster "of course the grand lady must give me a more excruciating time in the nox lands than I should have but to answer your 1st question that was an ouranos scroll it purpose is to create a thick layer of air around a room so no one can enter or hear the conversation and too answer the second question of course you are after all only a paragon could do what you did"
The man than takes out a piece of white metal in the shape of a diamond shape with glowing green lines all over. He swiped over it and a hologram appeared it was her in the hospital unconscious in a hospital gown surrounded by machines. That wasn't what caused Rhode to go pale and have to stop her self from vomiting. She was covered in ugly burns and all over her body but slowly her scars began to close together leaving nothing behind .
"How" she let out with a shaky breath when she remembered something "you! you got me out of jail how? What? Why" Rhode had never been so confused in her life. "At least your not an imbecile like assumed you were but could you please just listen you have two ears and one mouth for a reason!" He snapped causing the girl to immediately shut her mouth 'he was able to get me out of jail so he is definitely able to make stay their even after death' she thought. "Thank you" the headmaster hand swiped over the diamond again this time it changed to a woman who Rhode was pretty sure inspired Jolene she wore a crimson suit that matched the blush on Rhodes ears perfectly.
'Paragon academy a school for the greatest of the elites made over a hundred years ago by billionaire politician Ambrose andromeda. For the sole purpose of being the perfect school for his perfect children. At least that was the coverup the school was actually created due to many children popping up in the world with both paragon and tainted blood running through their veins. What are tainted and paragons? Paragons are beings forged out of ichor and magic their entire purpose is to be the bridge between tainted and the creatures you heard about in fairy tales, dragons. Tainted are bloody thirsty creatures who create things that harm themselves and other's just to make life easier and keep them right up in the food chain aka humans. So to make sure that the corrumpere didn't reveal are secrets and didn't become corrupted by the tainted we created a school where they can learn with the socialites of their generation and not break the celestial oath'.
With that the hologram of the woman disappeared "now any questions" the headmaster asked. "Are you saying I'm a paragon? Are you saying that my life is a lie? Do I have powers?" "No since you have tainted blood in your veins as well your considered corrumpere, yes and yes" the headmaster answered. The headmaster than stood up fixing his cuffs "I will return in a month to pick you up for school please fill out and send these documents within a week and here is a deacon to activate it say rise make sure you do not use or sign any of this near anyone" he instructed as he handed her documents and a ring. With that he exited the room causing the glow to disappear. Claire walked looking more relaxed than she was before "so what did you talk about" she asked breaking the silence.
Rhodes bedroom 10:25pm
After days of being a mess her bedroom was finally clean. Sitting on her now tidy bed Rhodes was having an argument on whether or not she should accept this part of her. "You know what screw it" decided Rhode she opened the papers and took out a pen and started writing. The questions were strange some of them we're about how she wanted her uniform if you could call it that would look like, her room, her bonded (what ever that meant) and the type of sport and art she would like to learn.
Rhode reached to her vanity to turn off her lamp when she saw the ring the headmaster gave her. Placing it on her middle finger she examined the ring. It was formed of two silver rods that were intertwined with emeralds decorating it. "Rise" uttered Rhode doing so a blue orb surrounded in a a blue hue appeared. "Greetings I am deacon is this your first deacon" the orb stated in a robotic voice "uhh yes?" Rhode said sounding more like a question than a answer luckily the orb didn't realise.
'Well then allow me to give you the origin of the deacon. A few decades back the labyrinth family tired of sending out the nightshade came up with an idea. A ring formed out of technology and mana that could do everything a phone can do but better. And thus the deacon was formed. The deacon has a ride range of applications such as the tower a social media platform and the archives the greatest search engine in the world even able to find records from the library of Alexandria. Now permission to scan your brain so I can be tailored to your liking' said the deacon.
"Okay" agreed Rhode, a blue light came from the orb and scanned her brain making a ding noise once completed. The orb started to change it started to emit a blinding light that caused Rhode to look away. When the light stopped it revealed a tiny human with chin length hair and doe eyes the only thing remaining of her past appearance was that she was still entirely blue. Now shall we continue the tutorial.
October 9th Outside the costa residence
Fiddling with her outfit, Rhode watched as the chauffeur and aunt worked together to place her bags in the trunk. Butterflies we're eating her alive from the inside out. She was so lost in thought about what life would be like from now on that she didn't notice a girl with a noticeable scar on her face walking her way until she tapped her shoulder. "Keira!! Uh hi" proclaimed Rhode rather nervously "what are you doing here" "just going to see you off" replied Keira.
Silence fell upon the duo with to much to say yet too little words to explain how the felt. "So this is new" commented Keira about Rhode's choice of clothing causing her to look at her clothing. She wore a coral maxi dress with a square neckline and see through peasant sleeves with gold embroidery on her right breast designed to look like the school's crest. A sword with a rose rapped around it with a winged shield behind it. "The school is really formal" answered the girl in question silence befalling them again. "I'm really sorry" the friends apologised to each other in sync. "Your sorry? I'm the one that should be sorry" argued the duo once again in sync.
"You know what you say what you want to say then I'll say what I want to" decided Keira not wanting this to continue any longer. "Why should you be sorry because of me you have a giant scar on your face!" Stated Rhode "so you tried to save me!" Yelled Keira "so what I was the one the that started to fire I could of lost you!" Cried out Rhode as she began to sob in the smaller girls arms. "Did you do it intentionally" she questioned "no" mumbled Rhode "then it's not your fault so get out their and so those elitist pricks what your made of" comforted Keira as she raised her fist in the air. "Keira?" Sniffed Rhode "yeah" Keira replied "your an elite" Rhode reminded Keira "yeah but I'm more down to earth" boasted Keira.
"Who lied to you?" Questioned Rhode "hey that's mean" chided Keira earning a laugh from Rhode because of the way she acted.
"Excuse me miss Costa but we must make haste or else we will be late" said the chauffeur. Rhode nodded slowly frowning that she now has to leave her friend after not talking to her for months. Keira gave the sad girl a tight hug that would normally annoy her but today Rhode didn't care. "Make sure to keep in touch" said Keira "I will and make sure not to get back with Luis" instructed Rhode "no promises" spoke Keira with a cheeky smile that didn't make it up to her face.
With one last hug from Claire promising to face time with her once a week Rhode went into the limo that would take her to place that would be the start of everything or maybe the end.
