"mum!" I exclaim and run towards her to hug her. But as mr. Kim is in way, i have to hug him too.
"Why didn't you tell you were coming?" Taehyung asks, his eyebrows raised with confusion
"That's what you call 'sudden' now" hoseok says relaxing his body a bit at his father's sight
"It was a surprise.. but what do you guys mean? I did tell jin" mr. Kim breaks the hug and looks over at where jin is.
Jin shrugs, "i didn't find it important to tell you guys.. also won't it ruin their surprise? anyways not like you'd have welcomed them with decorations or something" he yawns and i chuckle
"I wouldn't have minded that though" mom says nodding her head in agreement and thinking hard
"How are you both? How was your trip?" I ask them politely
"We are both good! Trip was pretty nice too" mr. Kim replies with a smile thinking about something, probably remembering the moments they enjoyed on their trip. Then he ruffles my hairs,
"It's good to see you guys having sibling time and bonding well" mr. Kim smiles at all of us
Jungkook nods, "yea we had lots of fun all these days" yea, fun having me almost dead.
"I have to go.. jimin must be waiting for me" Suga says glancing at the watch on his wrist
"Right. Will you be okay by yourself? Take a driver with you" mr. Kim suggests him checking the time as it's probably too late
"I'll be fine, don't worry much and take rest you both" yoongi says and leaves the living room wishing night to everyone
"I'm pretty tired.. let's all talk tomorrow" mom yawns and pulls mr. Kim with herself
"Sure mom! Have a good night mom and mr. Kim" i smile and leave for my room
I close my door, lean against it and sigh, "this evening has been all smiley smiley, it's tiring"
Just as i stand straight, someone opens the door knocking me out of the way by the force
Taehyung peaks inside and opens the door wide after i am aside. I see all my step brothers except yoongi entering my room.
"Nice way to enter someone's room" i scoff and gently rub my shoulder
"I know i know" taehyung smirks,
"Why are you here?" "Because we have few things to talk about" jungkook replies and looks around my room. What is he always trying to find? Not like I'm sneaking eunwoo in.
I still am confused by their behaviour but nevertheless I go to the window, open it and sit on the window sill. Staring into the dark sky with soft rain showering.
All my step brothers settle down, taehyung, jin and hoseok on bed, namjoon on the chair of my study table while jungkook comes and sits beside me on the window sill.
They are all facing me.
I take a deep breath, relaxing by the feeling this rainy atmosphere provides me. I let my thoughts take over as no one is speaking up yet.
I don't understand my so called step brothers. Why did they behave nice? Can I say nice? Let's just say, why did they behave normal and so casual with me during dinner?
They acted like they never tried choking me, never hated me, injured me, held my neck hostage and what not?
Then they themself volunteered to watch movie with me. Is this some trap? Or are they trying to actually be nice with me? Do they expect me to go along? Assholes.
