Heat

"Baby, I can tell your heat is close," Rick said wrapping his arms around me from behind as I was doing the laundry.

"Rick, I have to get this done before my heat," I said but still melted into him.

"Baby, we have someone who will do the laundry," Rick said kissing my neck

"I just feel bad that they have to do it when I'm perfectly capable," I said

"Baby, I know you are but it's her job," Rick said

"I know," I said turning in his arms.

"Your scent is getting stronger baby, we should get you to bed," Rick said leading me to the room.

Rick took his shirt off and gave me his clothes from the past few days, obviously not all dirty but worn just enough to keep his scent.

"Let me know if you need anything baby," he said kissing my forehead

"Wait, you're not gonna stay?" I asked

"You usually push me out during heat, I didn't figure you wanted me here," Rick said

"Well, now that we're married and we've had sex before.... I don't see why you can't stay," I said

"I have to get some work stuff done baby, but if you are okay with going into heat in the office.." Rick said and immediately I was in his arms.

"Alright baby, whatever you want," he said chuckling and kissing me before walking to the office. On the way to the office we passed the cleaning lady, she looked at Rick for too long and I let out a warning growl. Rick just apologized which earned him a growl.

"Baby, calm down. I got you love," Rick said snapping me out of my head.

I immediately pouted as he put me down on the couch and sat in his chair.

There was a knock on the door and then a very pregnant woman walks in with two babies, one in each arm, and twin boy-girl toddlers. The toddlers ran over to Rick and climbed into his lap.

I whined making my presence known to the new people.

"Oh, is this your mate? This might look weird, i'm his older sister, Katherine. My husband can't seem to keep it in his pants. I had four kids to take care of so I apologize for not getting introduced earlier, and not coming to the wedding. It's hard with going on seven kids under two." Katherine said

"Triplets this time?" Rick asked rolling his eyes.

"Yes, two girls and a boy. So five girls and two boys" Katherine said

"I swear if he doesn't give you time between these three and the next I will personally castrate him, he has many heirs he doesn't need a dozen in a couple years," Rick said

"I know you just met me but can you please hold them? I have to pee," Katherine said and I just nodded and took the babies.

When she came back she went for the babies but stopped turned around and slapped Rick in the back of the head.

"You absolute asshole," Katherine said

"Ow, what Kat?" Rick said

"Your mate is in heat and you are in your fucking office, really I thought I taught you better than that," Katherine said

"He's never let me in the room with him when he goes through heat," Rick said pouting at his sister.

"Not an excuse, get your ass over there and take care of your mate, he's distressed and you let me walk in here, new people, with a bunch of kids crawling on you, and you not paying a bit of fucking attention to your mate! He's releasing a shit ton of distressed hormones and you know better than this," Katherine said taking the babies back and getting the toddlers to follow her out the door.

Rick sighed, rubbing his temples.

My eyes went blurry and my body was shaking, I could taste salt.

"Hey, hey, hey, shhh, baby what's wrong," Rick asked as he suddenly put me in his lap.

"Y- y- youdonwanme" I mumbled sniffling my sobs

"Hey baby, calm down and then talk," Rick said rubbing my back

"You don't want me," I said sniffling

"Hey, that's not true. I do want you baby," He said

"Then why have you been avoiding me since we come in here," I sniffled

"I have some paperwork to finish baby, I usually save most of my paperwork for when your in heat so I can distract myself, you haven't been wanting me in there with you till now," Rick said

"I'll go back to the room and not distract you then," I said attempting to stand up but his hands were tight around my waist.

"You aren't going anywhere baby," Rick said and I whimpered
