LIAN's POV.

After Some Weeks;
(Lian's House)

After founding out the real culprit behind the company's sabotage, i began to take actions to sort things out. I am just glad that Kit has proven me wrong and that i am sure that she will be honest to me.

"Honey, i shall be there to protect you and your mom. Wait till i come before taking a risky move." daddy said on the other line.

I told him everything because i seek for his advice too knowing he's a retired genius lawyer during his time.

"Daddy relax, let me handle this. Trust your daughter, i can be as good as you." i said protesting.

"Naaahh there's no doubt you're good but as a father i worry for you my child. Now it isn't just about you defending your client but it's all on you now. You're defending yourself as much as you need to protect yourself too." he said worrying for me.

"I haven't started yet dad, you know i want to do this for mommy. I became a lawyer like you so that one day i can protect my loved ones and here it is. Have your faith dad, nothing bad gonna happen to me." i added giving him assurance.

"What a stubborn kid, you're like your mother hays. Alright if you say so, but you need to tell me anything and i am sending Adam to monitor you. Don't stop me Lian, it's an order!" he said in authority that i can't argue anymore.

"Aish dad why him? O--okaaay." i said and sighed.

I ended the call and quickly jumped to my bed.

Of all people why Adam? Yes he is my bestfriend but he just confessed his love for me and i still haven't seen him again after that.

I'm about to close my eyes to get a sleep when a notification popped on my phone.

*@yellowcutiepiyo started a live video*

"Huh? Why she suddenly went on a live?" i asked myself.

I got up and opened my laptop to watch her.

(During Live)

"Hello guys, my baby Kitkit here is looking for her mami. She said she will come and feed her but she didn't came, oh wow." she said with Kitkit on her lap. They're on her room sitting at the couch.

She is wearing a mask and a cap to hide her face.

Ohh shoot! I forgot i told her that i'm gonna come visit them tonight. I've got busy on the office the whole day that i forgot about it.

I commented.

"Mami is sorry because she forgot. Kitkit help mami not to meet sulking Momma tonight." i said.

And so the comments blew up when the audience started to reply.

*Here's mami Kit, tell mami to come join with us." she told the kitten as if it can talk back.

And a notification appeared.

Ohh she really meant that.

I accepted the request.

"Hi teerak, i miss you!" i said right away.

She glared at me in an instant.

"Miss me? But no show at all and you didn't even called me yet." she said sulking. Ohhh shoot!

"Ahhh..i'm sorry Teerak, your faen just got busy but i will make it up okay? Look, i'm too tired my love." i said showing her my eye bags for a reference.
