[LOVEBIRD] a bakudeku tale

White Rain

Bakugo and Deku are on an ice cream date in the city. 

"I-I-I-I'd like the m-mint chocolate chip please." said Deku, quivering in angst.

"I WANT CARAMEL COOKIE SWIRL."  says Bakugo, calmly. 

They walk outside to eat under a tree with fingers intertwined. Deku sticks his tongue out to lick his ice cream but a flock of pigeons are flying overhead. They poop onto his extended tongue. Deku screams and pukes violently and Bakugo laughs so hard he almost faints. Deku is crying and sobbing on the ground.

Bakugo finally extends a hand to Deku to help him up. Deku tries to grab his hand but he can't. All Bakugo feels on his palm is a brush of feathers. Deku is in anguish as he realises his arm is now a wing. His shoes then slip off to reveal claws. Deku tries to scream but all that comes out is a squawk. 

He is shrinking rapidly.

"NO! NO! NOO! DEKU!" Bakugo cries. "SOMEBODY HELP US SOMEBODY HELP UUS PLEASE!!"

Hot tears rolled down his face. Deku is now out of sight, buried under the pile of clothes he was wearing. Bakugo rips the clothes and tosses them away and cups bird Deku in his hands. 

Deku is a beautiful bird of brilliant emerald green. 

"My Deku, what beautiful feathers you have." Bakugo says.

Deku chirps with tears welling up in his little bird eyes. 

"I will always love you no matter what, Deku." 

Deku wraps his talons around Bakugo's finger and the lovers embrace.
