TOWARDS THE PALACE

Derin was in great shock after  seeing her grandfather in a photo.Then a lady entered the room. The lady came closer to her and said

"He was a man with powers"
-How do you know him?
-He was once my husband-
-What?
-He valued love when I wanted power
-Who are you, exactly?
-Michelle,I'm Michelle Mallory. Who'll do anything to have powers.
-But you are not my grandmother are you?
-I think I've already given the answer to your question.
Cavin entered the chat saying -
Grandmother,father wants to meet you downstairs,he wants to talk about -
Derin interrupted saying - Now,CAVIN,what on the earth are you doing in here? Aren't you Mr.Ben's son?
-You really thought I belonged to that crusty-musty house~
-Oh lord!Why am I even here!This is driving me nuts!
-It's just the begining.
Cavin leaves,while leaving Derin absolutely speechless.

While Derin here is freaking out about why she came here and why isn't she taking action and just going out,her parents are looking for her everywhere.
While searching for her,Derin's father recalled a place,and he went for it immediately...
It's almost dark now,Derin finds this place terribly weird and she decides to leave this Place. When everyone in the house is finally asleep, Derin unlocks the door and quietly leaves the door.She used her hands as a source of bright light,she goes on in her way knowing nothing about how to go back home. Then she felt something on her shoulder,when she turned,it was the hand of Mr.Ben.
-"Mr.Ben,let go off me"
-I am not powerless either,Derin.
Derin uses her strength to move his hand and throws him on the bush. She starts running,but so does he. He was about to tie her up in tree branches,that was when Mr.Cedric arrived,and froze the tree branches.
-Father,how are you here?
-Derin,hold my arm,fast!
They teleport to Sherwood.
-Father,that was unprecedented!
-My love,are you okay?Did they harm you?Did they frighten you in any way possible?let me know,if you found anything horrible!
-You both,I'm completely okay!Besides,I went there with my own will.
-How did you go there?
-Cavin,Mr.Ben's son came here wearing a mask ,I didn't recognize him,he seemed suspicious,so I followed him,and one by one signs came,I followed them and reached there.Father,who are they?Why is Cavin there?And a lady even said that grandfather was once her husband.
-Enemies!They've made us their enemies.
-But who are they?
-They are related to us,Derin. And they're after y-
-Cedric!!Derin,go to your room and rest,you must be overwhelmed by all this.
Derin freshens up.After a very exhausting day,she finally goes to bed,thinking about everything that's happened.Derin falls asleep and opens her eyes to hundreds of bats staring at her. A bat flies over her head leaving a chit on her hand.Derin opens the chit,and the bats vanish within seconds  after a flaming ray of light comes from a palace. Derin started to spell it - THE P-A-L-AC-E O-F -
Ms. Erica : Derin!My dear,are you okay,what're you murmuring?!
-Mother,I had a dream,about a certain palace,I couldn't know the full name as you just waked me up
-oh my dear,you must be stunned
-no it's okay.
Derin got up and got ready to head for  school. She was on her way back home,alone,when she felt something following her. She didn't pay much attention at first but then the weather started to get gloomy,it was all bright but now it's all dark. The same things she saw in the dream started to happen. A flock of bats were roaming around her looking at her like they know her. Then just like the dream a bat flies over her head living a chit and all of a sudden the bats disappear she looks up and a flaming ray of light almost burnt her eyes. It got normal after few seconds and she saw the exact same palace. THE PALACE OF FLAME .
