Sorry it took me so long to update I had I lot of things going on in my life and was on vacation for spring break for a while and had no Internet. I know it was torture :( But anyway here is Chapter 2, I hope you enjoy. - <3

Katherine's P.O.V.

It took me a moment, but soon I figured out that the guy who was yelling at us was none other than Simon from the X-factor, and who was the boys manager. Beside me Joe stood, still not moving or talking back to Simon, and then I remembered he has just recently become a big X-factor fan, thanks to me I might add. Then I realized he is in the state of awe I was in only moments earlier.

"Well, what do you think you are doing?" Simon asked.

When Joe didn't say anything I knew I had to take charge or else they would start questioning him and get him in trouble, maybe even fired, I mean this guy is famous, who knows what kind of influence he has. Joe was like a father to me, I couldn't let that happen, he had a family to support.

"We were doing our job," I said defiantly, hardly believing I was talking to Simon this way, I had no idea where this new found courage and spunk was coming from, but I liked it.

"Really, doing your job, by pulling over 5 teenage boys, who were driving slowly down the highway?"

"Yes that is doing our job, they were going too slow on the highway, if someone turned a corner, they could have run into them and gotten in a serious accident. Is that what you would want?" I questioned.

"No, of course not, I'd never want those boys to get hurt." He said looking over at the boys, who were starting to walk over here, but stopped when they heard us arguing, clearly not wanting to get in the middle of it.

"We'll then you should be thanking us," I continued.

"No I shouldn't be, I would never let my boys get hurt, they are like sons to me, so I had blocked off this section of road to ensure their safety. I don't know how you got on this road, but I had barricades put up to stop traffic while we shot the music video. If anything, you are the ones who put them in danger, not me, so you can shut that pretty little mouth of yours and get off the set for my music video."

I stepped back shocked and infuriated, feeling my body start to shake with anger, not accustomed to being spoken to that way. I was about to open my mouth and give him a piece of my mind, not caring he was some famous person, when Joe put a hand on my shoulder to stop me and calm me down.

"We had no idea, the road we came up on didn't have a barrier so you might want to fix that, otherwise we will be going now, sorry to have disturbed your music video," Joe calmly said.

"Good," Simon retorted, "at least one of you know some manners," he looked to Joe, "you really should work on her, obviously her parents didn't do a good job raising her," and with that said he walked away.

I froze.... Memories I had been repressing about my parents rising to the surface after what Simon said.

FLASHBACK

'Smack!' my cheek started stinging as my father's hand made contact with my face. The force of his hand sending me tumbling to the floor.

"You stupid girl!" My father yelled his face red with anger, "How hard is it to cook a simple dinner!?"

My mom was out of town for the week, since her job required her to travel around a lot, and my dad expected me to take on her responsibilities while she was away, which included cooking. Apparently his dinner was cold, and to him that was unacceptable, he had yelled at me about if before, sure, but this was the first time he had ever hit me for it.
