Closing time the greatest feeling ever. This week has really been stressing me out already and it's only half way through. Thankfully I'm off tomorrow so after I finish closing everything down I get to go home to my bed that's been calling since I woke up.
"Ok girlie I'm gone let me know when you leave kisses!" Doja calls out leaving out.
I was with the last customer of the night. Usually it's two of us here when closing but she had a date tonight. I'm kind of use to her leaving me to close alone just never spoke up about it. Nothing has ever happened so why bother.
"Here you go enjoy your night." My smile drops as they walk out. Taking off my apron I let the ponytail out. "Finally."
A good stretch and im ready to get this over with. First throwing out all the now old pastries making room for the fresh baked ones. I use to hate doing this but we don't make things in big portions so even if there is anything to throw out it's not that much. I was in the back kitchen emptying out the trays when the doors bell sounds. I forgot to lock it!
"Hello?"
"Why me?" I silently throw a fit before going to see who is out there. Pushing through the swinging door I freeze.
"There's my baby." Cain cheeses leaning on the counter. Cesar was behind matching his grin.
"What uh what are you guys doing here?"
"To see you of course y'all closed or something?"
"Yeah I was cleaning up a little before I started closing down everything." I dust myself off not wanting to look to raggedy.
"Are you alone darling?" Cesar frowns looking outside locking the door.
"Oh well yeah my friend was suppose to be here with me but she had a date." They both look at me with bored looks. "I'm ok it's not the first time."
"That's not cool you shouldn't be here like this by yourself anything could happen theirs a lot of people with nuts for brains." Cain softly says hoping over the counter.
"One in here with you now." Cesar smirks walking around ignoring the finger blindly thrown his way. "Did you have plans after work?"
"No it was pretty busy today I have alot to do I'll be beyond tired after so I just planned to go home maybe dinner then sleep until noon." I start taking the trash bags out to change.
They both decided to help me out one taking the full bag the other putting in a fresh one.
"Why don't we help you out here then you can join us for a late dinner...if that's something you'd like to do."
