Working With Klitz

12. Party

Klitz's POV:

My mouth instantly dried up, I've never been to a party before and the idea of it sounded terrifying. But at the same time....I've never been to a party, I'm 18 now and it's depressing.

'Uh y-yeah sure...if you want to.' I said as nonchalantly as I could.

'Okay Lani we'll come, just send us the address. And don't hurry me, you always do that. We'll get there when we get there.' She said sternly before hanging up. 'Okay catch me up on what I missed.'

I filled her in on what she missed while she was gone while we made our way back into the screening then Matt and Eli filled us in on what happened after I left.

'Me and Klitz are going to a party now but both of you two have been invited too if you want to come.' Y/n said while we made our way back to the car.

'A party?' Who's party?' Matt said with furrowed brows.

'Doesn't matter, I'm fucking going.' Eli grinned.

'I'm not actually sure, my friend Lani just invited me and I said I was with you guys and she said to bring you as well.' Y/n shrugged while getting in the car.

'And Klitz you're gonna go?' Matt said with a confused face.

'Well yeah, why not.' I shrugged in hope he would let it go because I didn't want y/n to know i've never been to a party before.

'Okay well yeah I guess I'll go then.' Matt said while slumping back in his chair.

Y/n put the address into my satnav and after like 10 minutes we arrived.

'Wonder which house it is.' Matt said sarcastically while looking at the house with the blaring lights flashing in the windows and with random club music playing at full volume.

'Come on.' Y/n laughed while rolling her eyes and getting out of the car.

We made our way into the house and I occupied my hands by playing with a piece of thread that was coming off of my sleeve so I didn't look so awkward. When we got in, the house was packed. In the living room alone there were around 20 people and I could see around the same amount in the kitchen.

'Let's find Lani.' Y/n said while going from the living room into the kitchen and looking around, going on her tip-toes so she can see over the shoulders of people.

'Klitz, can you see a girl in a purple dress, I think she said she's wearing one.' Y/n shouted over the blaring music.

'Uhhh I don't know. What does she look like?' I said while looking over people's heads to try and see.

'She's around 5'5 and she's black with longish braids and little gold hoop things in them.'

I looked around the kitchen a little more before I saw that there were people outside the house too. I then saw a few jockish looking guys standing with a few girls, one of the girls in a sequin purple dress.

'I think she's outside.' I shouted while pointing to her. Y/n nudged a few people out of the way to see, 'Yeah that's her, come on guys.'

We followed her from the kitchen entrance to the back door and once she opened the clear door Lani must have already seen us since she was shouting Y/n's name and running up to her.

'Y/N! FINALLY!' She yelled while bumping into y/n to hug her, nearly knocking her over.

'Christ Lani be careful, nearly fell on my ass.' She laughed while hugging back. 'Lani this is Matt, Eli and Klitz.'

'OH KLITZ! Hi!'

'Hey.' I smiled.

'Wow y/n you weren't lying when you said he was tall.' Lani said while looking me up and down before pulling me into a hug.
