Chapter 20

It's been a couple of days since I healed Katerina. Katerina has been living with us in secret not wanting principal Weems to find out since she'll force Katerina to go back home, not knowing the situation at hand since Katerina wanted to keep it undercover. In the early morning when the sun begins to rise. I'll drive Katerina to school grabbing breakfast on the way knowing public school food isn't all that great.

You're probably wondering why isn't piece of shit of a sheriff/father doing anything about Katerina being gone. Well, let's just say I forced him to leave us alone.

              ~After Katerina fell asleep~

I'm sitting on a couch in the living room waiting for the sheriff to come home. I heard the door knob jiggle signaling that the sheriff is finally home. 'Yay!' He walks through the door kicking his shoes off by the door and throwing his keys on a table with his hat. He shuffles into the kitchen, opening something which I assume is the fridge or a cupboard. He walks into the living room hitting the door frame on the way with a beer bottle, still not seeing me. He turns on the TV and making it illuminate the room, making him finally see me. He drops his beer, making it shatter everywhere. "HOLY SHIT! Don't you know you're trespassing?" I stay silent watching him go to grab his gun. "That'll be the least of your worries." I fling the gun into my hand with my magic. "Let's play a game. I'll ask you a question and you have to answer honestly and if you don't I'll pull the trigger. It's a lot like Russian roulette." I take every bullet out besides three and give it a little spin. "My neighbors will hear the gunshot." I shoot the gun, making it let out a loud bang. "On the contrary, they won't be able to hear anything since I put a silencing barrier around the house." He stiffens at where he stands practically shaking in his boots.

He watches my every move practically sweating bullets, but I'll give him some credit he still tries to keep a brave face on. "You don't want to do this? Trust me I –-But don't I? Now here comes the first question." I clap my hands together making a loud bang, making the sheriff back away a few steps in case he needs to run. "Don't try to run, I barricaded the door with my magic just for extra measures."

"Now  did you or did you not hurt Katerina?" His hands begin to shake when I float the gun to his head. "I don't know what you're talking about. -*Tsk, Tsk* You're lying now let's play by the rules or do you want a bullet to your head. Did you or did you not hurt some I cherish?" I pull the trigger back, taking the safety off, getting a satisfying click in return. "Yes." I lower the gun a little, giving him a smirk. "See, was that so hard? Now question number dos. Did you hurt her recently?" I say. "No." I raise an eyebrow at him tilting my head and looking at him with fake disappointment. I point the gun between his legs and pull the trigger making a loud bang go off making him flinch. "How stupid do you think I am? I wouldn't be here if you didn't hurt her recently… actually scratch that I would." I motion for him to stand in the middle. He moves far too slowly for me making me get irritated with him but he is just prolonging this.

"Know that was a warning number two but the next time you answer wrong that bullet will be put in your head or maybe you'll get lucky and it won't be a bullet. Know the third and final questions? Should I spare you or should I kill you?" He looks at me with frightened eyes, but he doesn't hold the eyes of my love which I'm glad for. "But I thought if I answer all your questions honestly you'll let me live." I nod my head telling him he's right. "To be honest, you're going to die one way or the other. It may not be tonight or tomorrow night but you will die. Whenever Katerina is ready to get rid of you herself, which I have a feeling is very soon you'll die. Everyone who has ever loved her will be there to support her as she does it. And on one of the questions you didn't answer honestly soooo…" I watched as the color drained from his face, not feeling any satisfaction, maybe it was because he was not screaming or bathing in his blood. "This is getting boring, let's just skip to the torturing. Wednesday, my little she-demon! You can come out now. Now your daughter said we couldn't harm you and so far I have kept my promise..." He lets out a sigh of relief making a smirk grow on my face.
