Romano noticed a lone rope in the back of the plane. It was hung on the wall carelessly, almost as if someone had just thrown the tool there in a hurry.
"No time to worry about that now." He said to himself.
Grabbing the rope he tied the first end to the hook that had kept it attached to the wall. "It doesnt seem very sturdy."
He observed. "But its better then nothing."
He smirked slightly as he tied the other end around his waist. The path of the Tomato gang was a dangerous one, though the members were already used to risky situations like this. Even so, it would taken all his coarage for this feat. Bracing himself, Romano poised at the edge. The plane had already began to lift off, the rope being the italian's last chance of saving his brother. Looking downwards he realized he hadnt really thought this plan through too well. "Theres no turning back now.." He murmered.
Forgeting all common sense, he jumped. Romano could feel the wind rushing through his hair, his heartbeat thumping louldly in his chest, and fear started coursing through his veins.
"Feli!" He called. The italian then realized something. He had taken the biggest risk possible just to save his brother, even putting the mission in jeopardy.
No matter what the cost, he had to survive.Romano spotted his brother, his eyes wide in shock. The older italian was going full speed torwards the ground. Feliciano knew what he had to do. He quickly ran to catch his brother who fell on top of him with a thud. Quickly getting off, the older italian untied his rope and tied it around the both them not saying a word. Romano watched in the direction the plane had gone, his eyes narrowed.
"Almost.." He murmured.
Feliciano didnt get why his brother had tied the rope around them, nor did he want to. Though he did anyway as he looked up, seeing the rope seemingly attached to the plane.
"Hold on!" His brother shouted as he took hold of the rope. Suddenly the two were flung into the air.
"W-we need to climb up before the rope breaks!" The older italian comanded.
The younger brother nodded, facing upwards so he didnt have to look down. With a huff, Romano managed to pull the two up alittle bit more on the rope. Even with just Romano's weight, it didnt feel like the rope would hold him for very long. Now he had Feliciano to worry about as well, and it didnt help that all the other italian ate was pasta.
"Maybe we can just stay put here untill we land?" The older wondered aloud.
"No! We have to get Antonio's attention. Id rather do that then be the center of another of your genius plans." Feliciano was indeed scared, but he didnt let that stop him from getting under his brothers skin.
"We dont have time to argue here..but that could work." Romano said with a slight edge in his tone.
All they had to do was get the clueless piolet to relieze they were in trouble and get him to pull them up. Seemed simple enough, but that task at hand would take more thought then jumping out of a plane with only one measly rope. But if they didnt think of one soon, they were bound to fail this mission. And failing, was not an option.End of chapter 5
