What If Rimuru Joined The Akatsuki

Rimuru Attack: Closure

I don't know but from the looks of things he can borrow the power of the 9 tailed beast without needing to be its jinchuriki" kakshi replied

"Do you think he could borrow the power of the other tailed beasts?" Naruto pondered once again

"I don't know but I sure hope not" kakashi replied honestly

After a few more hours to rest up kakashi used kamui on all 4 of them once again sending them back to konoha's front gate and signed in with the gate guards and went straight to the hokage. On they way they were talking about why Rimuru would do something like that as from what team 7 had seen from him he was a nice person and would help when possible.

When they arrived at the hokage tower that overlooked the whole village they entered and kakashi begun his report:

"Lord Hokage, I will begin my report now..

When we entered the forest we had ran for about 4 hours west of konoha as Hinata had noticed large chakra fluctuation in that direction, when we made it to the source we had noticed a blue haired boy no older than Naruto who us 3 had encountered multiple times before."

"What was his name?" Tsunade asked as she moved forwards leaning on her desk getting interested in this unknown person

"His name was Rimuru last name unknown, we had met him a few times around and he helped whenever he could, back to the report. When we jumped down to see what was up with him we saw a large fireball whi h was easily capable of destroying a smaller village and it caused a crater bigger than any of the others."

"Capable of destroying a small village you say!?" Tsunade almost shouted before recomposing herself "he must be at least an S Rank if not SS rank" she muttered before kaakshi continued

"When he noticed us he instantly shot a water jutsu towards us which had done similar amount of damage but shot in a straight line instead of wide spread, when we regained our barrings we hid on the trees and I begun to ready my sharingan while the other 4 distracted Rimuru, while I was activating it Sakura said that he used a jutsu that caused a black dragon to form and swiped her into the ground crushing her spine and a few other bones in the process. Naruto eventually managed to kill the dragon which went up into smoke as if it was a summon"

"So then this guy has an unknown summon?" Tsunade asks

"I would assume so yes, as for after that Rimuru made himself known and used chakra threads like the ones used for puppet jutsu and used them on Naruto causing him to attack sakura and Hinata however I manged to cut the chakra threads after I finished activating my jutsu and used kamui on his ear only for me to lose focus once he flicked his ear and made me lose kamui. He then engaged Naruto in a battle of taijutsu which was quickly won as he was sent flying into Hinata and Sakura. Once we had recovered we had begun formulating a plan only to find that Rimuru was adding ideas to it and most of which we were going to use on him but had to scrap that idea." Kakashi says and continues until he eventually finishes with reporting his trip to kamui

"I see thank you kakashi, your team is dismissed however I would like you to stay behind" tsunade says while glancing at team 7 who was behind kakashi

(question: do you mind these mid chapter questions or should I put them at the end/begining?)

"As you wish lord hokage" kakashi replies as he glances at team 7+Hinata who head out "what would you like to talk about" kakashi asks as he moves forwards

"What do you think about Rimuru?" Tsunade asks while leaning back on her chair

"He is dangerous, very dangerous. I forgot to mention this in the report but it appears he's part of the... akatsuki" kakashi replies while looking down

"Akatsuki? So they're finally coming for Naruto then?" Tsunade questioned narrowing her eyes

"I thought so at first as well... but it looked almost as though he was merely enjoying the fight and when he had Naruto under his full control he didn't turn tail and run away with him but instead used him to fight..." kakashi replied while looking ashamed that the akastsuki could've taken Naruto easily even with him being there

"Hmmm... that is strange indeed. Are you sure that there wasn't a second partner there with him?" Tsunade once again asked

"There was only Rimuru, the battle had widend the crater in all directions as well as he didn't seem to be trying to avoid hitting any part of the forest like many others do when they have a hidden partner. Why do you ask?" Kakashi recounted

"Akatsuki work together in pairs if the past incounters are to be anything to go by. Hidan and kakuzu, kisame and itachi, deidara and sasori, they work together in pairs of 2 so if Rimuru is alone then I can only think of 3 reasons.. 1 being the fact that he is new and yet to have a partner, 2 being that there are an odd number, and finally 3... that he is strong enough to rival a pair of akatsuki alone..." tsunade says turning solemn at the last part

"You don't mean that Rimuru could potentially be strong enough to defeat 2 or more!? If that's the case then couldn't he be the leader? It would take incredible strength to put reins over people like Hidan and Rimuru easily has enough strength" kakashi almost shouts

"No, if Rimuru was the leader then why didn't he take Naruto? If what you said was true then he could've taken Naruto without any trouble, however he didn't.. but we can't take that possibility off the table. For now you're dismissed" tsunade replies as she turns to her paper work stacking high.

With Rimuru

"Well that was an eventful day" Rimuru says while yawning and turning to his training field.

"I had moved closer to the hidden leaf to train but they seemed to notice and tried to attack me! Like how dare they! I was enjoying my peace..."

"Anyway I should head back to my old training spot if this is going to become a regular occurrence, I'm also not going to be able to go to konoha anymore as they saw my cloak... such a shame they had great food there" Rimuru mutters to himself as he wonders off just as anbu arrive to intercept him and are quickly dispatched
