My Stolen Kiss

[2 months later]
In these two months, Ari and Jimin had become quite close.  The wedding will be in two days.

Jimin just sat there, looking at his plate for about 10 minutes but didn't take a bite.  He loves Ari with all his heart but honestly, he is not as happy as before.  He's tired of how insecure Ari is about her feelings for him.

I want to know who I am for her. I want to ask her but I'm afraid of her answer. What if she doesn't feel even a little bit of what I feel for her? No, I don't think too much about it, she loves me she just doesn't want to show it.  Jimin thought.  He cheered up.  He loves Ari even though it's clear she doesn't feel the same way.  Ari loves to talk to him, she loves to sleep on his lap, she loves to hug him but her feelings for him are not that strong.

Jimin tried to hold back the tears.  He finally decided to look up at Ari.  Today he wants to clarify all things.
“A-Ari?”  "Hmm?"  "I want to ask you something.  Will you tell me the truth?”  "Mmm.. Ask."  "But you have to be 100% honest.  OK?"  Y/n looked at him in amazement.  "OK."

Jimin looked down at his knees and then back at Ari.
“Do you love me Ari??”  Ari's smile disappeared from her face.

“Answer me Ari.”  “Hmm.. Jimin-” “Say yes or no.”  Ari just lowered her head and remained silent.
“Ari.. please don't give me false hope.  It's killing me.  I'm tired of keeping our relationship alive.  I don't see any effort on your part.  I'm tired of chasing you, I'm tired of waiting, I'm tired of trying.  If you don't love me just tell me and I'll let my feelings die forever." 
"J-Jimin.. it's getting late-" Jimin stood up and thumped the table.

“DO NOT change the subject Ari.  Answer my damn question.”  Ari stood up as well. “What's wrong with you Jimin??  Stop."  Jimin took Ari by the shoulders.
"LOOK AT ME AND TELL ME... DO YOU LOVE ME??"  “NOOO!  I DON'T LOVE YOU JIMIN!  I DO NOT LOVE YOU."  Jimin's heart broke into pieces.  He turned away from Ari so she wouldn't see the tears in his eyes.

"I-I knew t-that.. I.. I n-never should have f-fallen in love with you.." He wiped away his tears and started walking to his car.  Ari didn't know why but seeing Jimin like this made her heart ache and something told her to go and talk to him.

“J-Jimin!!  Please listen to me!”  Ari doesn't want to fall in love again, but he just makes it harder for her, so she's distancing herself.

“Jimin!  ” Jimin heard Ari yelling at him but he just ignored it and opened the car door.  And that was it.  Ari angrily took the plate and threw it at Jimin.  Jimin turned around in shock.  Ari took everything that was on the table and started throwing it on the floor.
“Ari… b-baby… p-please s-stop-” “NO!  Don't come to me!  Go away!"  Jimin didn't listen to her.  He came to her, took the plate from her hand and hugged her tightly.

"Don't touch me!"  Ari tried to push him away from her but she couldn't.  She kept trying but Jimin wouldn't let her go.

After a moment Ari gave up and hugged him back with tears in her eyes. "I hate you Jimin... I hate you.. You're just like Jungkook."  Ari tried to stop crying.
"Why did you come back??  You wanted to leave, didn't you?!  You wanted to leave me!”  as she said that, Jimin hugged her even tighter than before.
"Who said I want to leave you??  No, I will never leave you.”  Ari just stayed quiet.

“I just don't want you to ignore me Ari.  I don't want to feel like I'm not a part of your life.  You won't let me kiss you, sometimes you won't even let me hold your hand.  If you talk to me, it's about everything except me and you.  I love you Ari.  LOVE YOU SO MUCH.  I want you, but I can't live like this anymore.  It tears my heart to pieces.  I want to feel loved by you.  I want your heart, attention and the most important thing I want is YOUR LOVE."  a tear rolled down Jimin's cheek.

"I just want you to understand how I feel."  Ari still didn't say a word.  Jimin pulled away from the hug and looked into her eyes.

"I want you to love me as I love you.  Please don't ignore me.”  "I keep my distance on purpose because my feelings for you are getting stronger and it scares me.  I want to fall in love with you but I'm afraid.  Because of my last relationship, I'm afraid of falling in love again.  Mentally, I couldn't handle another breakup.  Jungkook was the one who asked me and I gave him my heart.  But he turned out to be a playboy."  Ari told him sadly.

“Ari… Are you afraid of getting heartbroken again?  Is this stopping you from loving?”  Jimin asked and she just slowly nodded her head.

“Let me break this chain.  Not everyone is like your ex.  Don't be afraid to love again.  Love me.  I promise I won't let you down.  I will make you the happiest girl in the world.”  he said in a soft tone, wiping away her tears.  Ari placed her hand on top of his.

“I will.. I will love you.  I'm starting to notice that you are the only one who always stays by my side, comforts me whenever I'm sad.  You make me happy."  Jimin was very happy to hear that.

"It's too late.  Lets go home."  Jimin said and they left.
